Rancho Mirage-Andrea Sand

I just read this book over the weekend and it said Andrea Claire Sand Mims
would be eligible for parole in 1997. Anyone know what happened with that?

Did anyone else read this book? I thought this was one of the most bizarre
stories I've ever read. This woman was/is NUTS. She was found competent to
stand trial, though. I was sorry the book didn't delve into her childhood,
etc. It more or less began with her marriage to Bob Sand (another head case)
and would only mention a few things about her past here and there.
