Hello,

Running OUT of posting time for today, and this will have to be my final
item, unfortunately. Pretty interesting, although apparently very prolific,
serial killer case out of Canada. 45 year old William Patrick Fyfe is
apparently a LONG-TIME serial STABBER, who only targeted middle-aged gals in
their 40's and 50's. He is facing FIVE counts of murder. The first harvesting
occured WAY back in 1981, and the LAST FOUR occured in quick succession, this
past autumn of 1999. So, it LOOKS like William killed one gal, then took an 18
YEAR BREAK from harvesting, only to RESUME last year, targeting the SAME type
of victims, in the SAME way, that he did 18 years earlier. Just goes to show
how TOTALLY unique all serial killers are. Of course we have to keep in mind
that William may have OTHER victims under his belt, that the impotent pigs
simply haven't linked to him.

William appeared in court yesterday, had a preliminary hearing date for his
upcoming trial set, for November. The fact that he is CHARGED with ALL five
murders, indicates police feel STRONGLY that he IS the serial killer. It
certainly sounds as though there are CLOSE similarities in all 5 harvestings,
including the AGES of the victims and the WAY they were killed, all REPEATEDLY
stabbed. A DNA link has ALSO been established as well, in ALL FIVE cases,
according to cops. Things DON'T look too good for William, as far as getting an
acquittal, might want to seriously consider trying an insanity defense.

At first glance, a reasonable assumption to make, might be that William was
CAUGHT after the 1981 harvestings and spent time in JAIL, thus accounting for
the VERY long gap in killings. But that is NOT the case, this tactically
brilliant fellow had NO arrest record, untl December of 1999. It appears he
simply STOPPED and cut short his OWN serial killing spree, after just two
victims, in 1981, SAVORED the glory of his accomplishment and untouchability
for 18 LONG years, before FINALLY resuming his killing spree last year.
Fascinating! And a real demonstration of how IMPOTENT the pigs are, when faced
with a CONTROLLED, tactically determined and PATIENT fellow.

Canadian pigs are now REOPENING dozens of unsolved gal murder cases, trying
to see if they can link William to them. An 18 YEAR killing hiatus is a VERY
long time, most especially if William was a FREE man throughout, as appears to
be the case.

You can view a NICE photo of one of last years harvestees, and a VERY
interesting black & white picture of William, looking somewhat stressed out and
menacing, over at:

Stay Strong, William!

Fyfe arraigned on two first-degree murder charges - Brings total to five

The Canadian Press

By MICHELLE MACAFEE

MONTREAL - A Quebec man accused of killing three women last fall was
arraigned Monday on two additional murder charges in a case file that now
dates back almost 20 years.

William Patrick Fyfe, 45, appeared in Quebec court and had Nov. 6 set as a
date for his preliminary hearing on five first-degree murder charges.

Profile of the five cases:

Hazel Scattolon -- 52, Montreal. Found in her apartment bedroom on March 25,
1981. She had been stabbed and sexually assaulted.

Anna Stagg Yarnold -- 59, Senneville, Que. Found dead in the garden of her
home on Oct. 15, 1999.

Monique Gaudreau -- 46, Ste-Agathe, Que. Body found Oct. 29 in her home. She
had been stabbed several times.

Teresa Liszak Shanahan -- 55, Laval, Que. Found dead in her apartment Nov.
22, 1999. She had been stabbed several times.

Mary Elizabeth Glen -- 50, Baie D'Urfe, Que. Beaten and stabbed in her home
on Dec. 15, 1999.

The latest charges are for the deaths of a 55-year-old woman found stabbed
in her apartment last November in Laval, Que., just north of Montreal, and a
52-year-old Montreal woman who was stabbed and sexually assaulted in her
apartment in 1981.

In both cases, police said DNA test results led to the charges.

Crown prosecutor Jean Lecours said he found it "rather troubling" that
Fyfe's charges now cover a period of almost 20 years.

"It should motivate the police departments and experts to work hard on their
investigations" of unsolved murders, said Lecours.

Fyfe, who was arrested last December near his mother's home in Barrie, Ont.,
was originally charged with the first-degree murder of Mary Glen. The
50-year-old woman was beaten and stabbed in her home in Baie-d'Urfe, west of
Montreal, last Dec. 15.

In February, Fyfe, whose last known address was in St-Hippolyte, about 50
kilometres north of Montreal, was also charged in the deaths of Anna Yarnold
and Monique Gaudreau.

Yarnold, 59, was found dead Oct. 15 in the garden of her home in Senneville,
just west of Montreal. Gaudreau's body was found two weeks later in
Ste-Agathe, north of Montreal.

The similarities among the five cases have prompted police departments
throughout Quebec and Ontario to re-examine dozens of unsolved murders.

Montreal police are studying about 20 files, said Lt.-Det. Jean-Francois
Martin.

"We're still waiting for DNA tests and other checks by investigators," said
Martin.

"We're looking into all the murder files of women who correspond to the same
modus operandi as that of Mr. Fyfe -- women who have been assaulted, raped,
robbed inside their homes."

Const. Guy Lajeunesse, a Laval police spokesman, said his department is
satisfied Fyfe is not connected to any of its unsolved murders.

"We looked back about 25 years and we didn't notice anything that might be
related to him," said Lajeunesse.

Fyfe charged with more murders

The Gazette; CP

William Patrick Fyfe, the man already accused of killing three Quebec women,
has been arraigned on two more first-degree murder charges, one dating back
almost 20 years.

Fyfe, 45, was charged yesterday with murdering Teresa Liszak Shanahan in Laval
last November and Hazel Scattolon in Montreal in 1981.

Shanahan, 55, was found stabbed in her Laval apartment, and 52-year-old
Scattolon, was stabbed and sexually assaulted in her apartment in Montreal,
police said.

Fyfe's preliminary hearing was set yesterday for Nov. 6. His lawyer, Marc
Labelle, asked that three weeks be set aside for the hearing, saying there is
"voluminous amounts" of evidence to wade through.

Last December, Fyfe was charged with the first-degree murder of Baie d'Urfe
graphic artist Mary Glen, 50.

In February, he was slapped with two more first-degree murder charges in the
deaths of Senneville resident Anna Yarnold, 59, and Monique Gaudreau, 45, a
Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts operating-room nurse.

Yarnold was found dead Oct. 15 in the garden of her home and two weeks later,
police found Gaudreau's body in Sainte-Agathe.

Fyfe was arrested by Montreal Urban Community and Ontario Provincial Police
officers on Dec. 22 at a gas station on a highway between Toronto and Barrie,
Ont.

An OPP officer said Fyfe had been under surveillance while he stayed at his
mother's home near Barrie.

Crown prosecutor Jean Lecours said yesterday he found it "rather troubling"
that Fyfe's charges now cover a period of almost 20 years.

"It should motivate the police departments and experts to work hard on their
investigations" of unsolved murders, Lecours said.

Police said that in all five cases, Fyfe was charged based on DNA evidence.

Fyfe's arrest prompted various Quebec police departments to scour unsolved
murder cases involving women in their 50s who were killed in their homes.

Montreal police are still studying about 20 such files, said Det.-Lt.
Jean-Francois Martin.
