I have a very busy day ahead of me, with lots of outdoor tasks and chores, in
the wake of my 5 day trip. So only have time to make 2 or 3 brief posts before
I must head out into the wild blue yonder for 8+ hours.
Just thought you folks might want to know that in West Virginia, a 6 week old
infant boy has LOST his ENTIRE nose, and other parts of his face as well,
courtesy of the tag team combo of 1: Negligent parents, and 2: A hungry rat!
Yes indeed, this 6 week old baby is hospitalized and has undergone
reconstructive surgery over the weekend, after a rat climbed into the baby's
bed and proceeded to EAT away the child's nose! Even though this article is
brief, it sounds like our rat has quite hungry, and helped himself to a nice
and hefty portion of the nose, rendering our baby noseless.
Police say they are investigating the case, but very possibly NO criminal
charges at all will be filed against the parents, even though they are clearly
negligent in terms of having allowed rats to not only infest the home, but to
actually be able to access this helpless 6 week old slave, as he slept in his
bed/crib.
Take care, JOE

Baby Has Face Eaten By Rat
April 6, 1998
Reuters
(CHARLESTON) -- Princeton authorities say a six-week-old baby
is being treated at a Charleston hospital after a rat ate away his nose and
part of his face. The boy had reconstructive surgery over the weekend.
Authorities are remaining tight-lipped about their investigation but say it
appears the rat climbed into the baby's bed.
Here is an update on our 6 week old infant boy in West Virginia, who was
attacked and severely bitten by a rat. The rat apparently ate most, if not all,
of the infant's nose, as well as other parts of his face, and extensive
reconstructive surgery was done over the weekend.
In this update we learn that our 2 Parental Units, Liz and Frankie Taylor,
have now been charged with felony child neglect, in connection with having
allowed their 6 week old slave to fall victim to the hungry rat. Police say
that the 6 week old apparently did not cry out during the rat attack, or
perhaps Liz and Frankie were simply occupied with other things when the attack
occured, and NEGLECTED to pay proper attention to the welfare of their helpless
infant slave. It's not clear whether this attack took place during the daytime
or at night, but it was sometime on Saturday.
Police confirm that the infant was VERY badly bitten, with numerous deep
wounds, and remains hospitalized in serious condition. Guess what? Mommy Liz
and Daddy Frankie are the proud owners of TWO additional child/slaves, who are
older than this infant. Despite having demonstrated profound neglect and
incompetence in having allowed this rat to literally eat the entire nose of
their youngest slave, there is no mention of police or child welfare
authorities seizing the other 2 child/slaves from the home. Of course not,
those older children are presumably capable to fighting off any future rat
attacks, on their own.
Both parents face the POSSIBILITY of up to 10 years in jail, if convicted of
the felony child neglect charges. But IMO, it is unlikely that either parent
will receive even a one year sentence.

Parents of infant bit by rats charged with neglect
April 6, 1998
PRINCETON, W.Va. (AP) A couple was charged Monday with felony child neglect
after their 6-week-old son was bitten by a rat badly enough to require
reconstructive surgery.
The boy's family called 911 after the bites were discovered Saturday on his
face and hands, Mercer County Sheriff Harold Buckner said.
"We're still investigating why the child did not cry out,'' Buckner said. "You
would expect a child to cry or call out and alert the parents.''
Liz and Frankie Taylor of Princeton could be sentenced to up to 10 years in
prison if convicted.
"The child was very seriously hurt,'' Buckner said. "The rat apparently crawled
into bed with the child.''
The baby was in serious condition after undergoing reconstructive surgery
Saturday. Two older children were not injured.

This article says nothing about a rat infestation in the house. There
could have been one pet rat or one lone, wild rat.
You also don't know that the parents "allowed" the rat to get into the
bed. It might have been one wild rat that no one knew about. Perhaps
it was a pet that escaped from its cage after the owners thought it's
cage door was shut..
The only thing you know from this article is that a rat attacked a
baby.

Hello Sheila,
It doesn't matter whether there was one rat or dozens of rats. These adults,
entrusted to provide proper care and protection to a helpless child/slave,
failed to do so. They did not make their home rat-free, and they did not
properly protect their baby from the rats that lived within their
house/apartment. Therefore they are guilty of felony child neglect, in having
allowed the attack to occur, and they have demonstrated that they should not be
entrusted by society to provide proper care for this infant, or other existing
children/slaves, in the future.
>You also don't know that the parents "allowed" the rat to get into the

Their ACTIONS, or LACK of proper actions, are what allowed the rat to get
into the bed.

Then they are just as guilty of negligence and should still face felony child
neglect charges, and have the infant permanently seized by the State.

Well, you are free to know whatever your mind allows. I know that the parents
were criminally negligent, in having allowed this rat attack to occur.

Here are a few new details on our 6 week old infabt boy and the severe
injuries to his nose and face that he suffered in a rat attack that took place
on Saturday, as the infant was inside of his crib/bed. As previously reported
by me, both parents have now been charged with felony child neglect, in
connection with the rat attack.
Below we learn that the parents are Frank and Lizzie Taylor. Daddy Frank is
61 years old, and Mommy Lizzie is only 32. Looks like Frank managed to snare a
young bride for himself. But that happens a lot, as older men delude themselves
into thinking that younger women love them, when in fact the only thing the
younger woman loves is the fact that at age 61, this man has accumulated a LOT
of money, more so than younger men, and can be expected to DIE and leave the
money to his young wife.
Our 6 week old baby continues to slowely recover in the hospital, after
undergoing reconstructive surgery on his face, the nose especially, which was
literally eaten away by our hungry rat. Both parents have ADMITTED to police
that they knew there was an infestation of rats in their home, and they have
also admitted that they did not check on their 6 week old baby for at least
"several" hours, prior to discovered that a rat had indeed made a meal out of
their slave's face.
Take care, JOE
