A former Holy Trinity Catholic School teacher had sex repeatedly with a
13-year-old boy in June, after she tied his hands to a bedpost with black silk
ties, according to arrest and search warrant affidavits released this week.

A few days later, Dawn L. Reiser, 29, professed her love for the boy in three
letters she sent while he was at a Christian summer camp, the affidavits state.
Reiser discussed marrying the boy, who had been one of her students, when he
turned 18, according to the affidavits.

She was arrested in late June and later charged with aggravated sexual assault
of a child and indecency with a child. She posted $150,000 bail shortly after
her arrest.

She was suspended without pay from her job as religion and English teacher at
the school in Grapevine. She had taught seventh- and eighth-grade classes at
the school for the last four years.

Reiser could not be reached Friday, but her attorney, Sam Cammack of Bedford,
has said that the allegations are unfounded.

According to the affidavits, which were released Thursday, Reiser picked up the
boy June 10 and drove him to her home in Euless. Reiser is married, but her
husband was not home.

Reiser tied the boy up and poured warming lotion on him, according to the
affidavits, which also say Reiser and the boy bought the ties and lotion at
Spencer Gifts.

Reiser had sex with the victim several times, according to the affidavits.

A few days later, the victim received the letters, one written on stationary
with multi-colored hearts and another written on stationary that had flowers on
it. One letter included a photograph of Reiser, the affidavits state.

When the photograph was shown to the boy's mother, she identified the woman in
the picture as Reiser, according to the affidavits.

The letters said she loved and missed him. She also wrote that he needed to
open the letters alone and tear them up, according to the affidavits.

An official at the Christian camp alerted Colleyville police June 18 of a
possible sexual assault, after the boy told counselors he had sex with his
former teacher and showed them the letters.

As part of the investigation, police seized black silk ties, a bottle of
warming lotion, stationary and envelopes printed with flowers and stationary
printed with hearts from Reiser's home.
