Tragic. Does anybody on the NG know how this poor woman could possibly have
been helped, without resorting to a shotgun, vodka and beer?
Doogie
A more important question, I think, is did she get rid of her callus?

Hello Doogie,
Thanks for posting this item. I HAD read all about this incident with Bonnie
Booth shooting herself in the foot to try and remove a painful callous, while
drunk, when the incident first occured, in 1996, I believe. You would not
BELIEVE how much effort I expended to get ahold of a photos showing Bonnie
Booth's face. But I finally did manage to acquire such a photo, and it holds a
sacred spot in my foot fetish photo albums, with articles on her shooting her
foot pasted in right next to the photo of her.

Sounds like an interesting book, if I knew that it had a photo of Bonnie, I
would definately buy it.

My foot fantasies about this case always revolve around exactly how PAINFUL
her callus must have been, for her to choose to take such a drastic step of
trying to shoot the callus off, notwithstanding the fact that she was VERY
drunk. I have tremendously erotic foot fantasies in which a gal is suffering
such severe pain in either a particular toe, or her entire foot, that she BEGS
me to "Please cut off my toe, Joe, the pain is unbearable! I can't stand it
anymore! Just cut off the damn toe (or foot), at least this awful pain from my
bunion/corn/callous/neuroma/ingrown toenail/etc....will stop!"

Yes, it is tragic. There are many treatments for callus removal, some of them
surgical in nature, but all of them a lot less dangerous and a lot more
successful than using a shotgun.
Thanks again for the post. It was a real blast from the past. I DON'T think I
was online yet, when this incident occured in 1996.
Take care, JOE

I read about this story as well. Amazing what happens when people use mind
altering substances. Joe, I believe you are correct that the incident happened
in '96. Too bad she didn't know you. I bet you could have helped her with
that pesky callus <g>. Glad you're online now.

Hey Joe!
Too bad you were not with me last week.:-) I went shopping at the mall, and
after a couple of hours, my shoes were absolutely killing my big toe. I was
shopping for shoes at the mall, actually. I was trying on shoes at my last
store and as I put my left foot into one pair of HIGH heels, I almost screamed
it hurt my big toe so bad. I have never had foot pain like that in my life.
When I finally got back home and took the shoes off, my big toe hurt if it
touched anything. That lasted for about 3 1/2 hours. It was horrible. Not bad
enough that I would want my toe cut off, but it was pretty bad.

Hello Michael,
Mind altering substances are a coping method that inferior humans use to
artificially create a false sense of reality within their minds. I am proud to
say that in my entire life, I have never gotten high on any substance, legal or
illegal. And I never will, for as long as I live. I embrace the truth that my
mind gives me, the cold, hard, brutal, truth, with no artificial enhancement or
dilution.

I would have been very glad and happy and excited to examine and tenderly
treat Bonnie's painful callus. :)

Ah, christmas shopping at the mall! I spent a LOT of hours between
thanksgiving and christmas hanging out at various shopping malls in my area,
watching the sore-footed female christmas shoppers limp around and slip off
their shoes, etc...

Shoe shopping gals with sore & painful feet are chocolate covered eye candy
for my hungry eyes and fetishistic mind. :)

I wish I could have witnessed your foot going into the shoe and then your
suppressed grimace of agony as the shoe squeezed against your exquisitely sore
big toe!

Thanks for the vivid imagery.

Well, I appreciate your sharing your sad tale of toe woe with me. :) Hope
the big toe is feeling better by now. Fashionable women's shoes, especially
high heels, can really put the kabosh on a sensitive big toe.

Hello jetgirl,
That's okay, I don't mind making people laugh. But my foot fetish is a very
serious and genuine thing.

Posting pictures in which your bare feet are visible is an open invitation to
the hordes of foot fetishists who inhabit cyberspace. :)

They have a very good web site for foot fetishists. One of the most popular
sites in the online foot fetish scene. Fact is, in RL, you CAN make money, just
by letting your feet be photographed for publication in various foot fetish
magazines.

A healthy foot is a happy foot. :)

Hello Joe,
What kind of feet are they looking for and how does one go about getting their
feet photographed? And most important, how much do they pay??

They are usually looking for "pretty" feet, with no major scars or blemishes
or abnormalities on them.
To get your feet photographed you simply send in one sample photo of your
feet, and tell the publisher that you are available for foot photo sessions and
will sign a release giving the publisher permission to print the photos in
their magazine. If you are located far away, the publisher might direct you to
a professional photographer in your area. If you are close-by, he might come to
your home, or to a hotel room, with his own photographer, and take the
pictures.
> And most important, how much do they pay??
Not VERY much, because the foot fetish scene is quite small, in terms of how
many copies of each issue the publisher can sell. So, you might get paid
between $100 and $400. If the photo shoot goes well, the publisher might want
to use you in a later issue, paying another $100 to $400, and he might talk to
you about how you can make MORE money, by posing your feet for videos.

You make for a very poor interpreter unless of course you are speaking for
yourself. Considering the *stalking* you and a few others are so fond of, I
doubt you were bold enough to be speaking for yourself Sharon. Hmmmmm, the
ChefMonkey licked the tip of his pencil and wrote *PoodlePaw Pate* on the menu.
So what's wrong with loving Joe? I do! :-)

Hello,
There is no "foot-romance" going on. However, I will try to mark any future
off-topic posts I make with the Subject designation of "OT", in order to inform
you that the post is Off Topic.
> I am sure there's some kind of foot-fetish group just
>waiting for them!
If Tammy wants to continue to discuss feet, she can e-mail me privately. I
make NO promises with regard to future off topic posts. I contribute a great
many ON topic posts, and once in awhile there will be an off-topic post made by
me. I will try to label all such posts with "OT".
Take care, JOE
Absolutely nothing Tammy. I'm kind of fond of the man myself. Sharon was just
being *herself* and I responded. No attempt to flame Joe was intended.
BTW, I saw on TV that Katarina Witt loves to have her feet massaged. I
though of you, Joe, and I thought of the callouses and bunions those
skaters must have ;).

Hello,
Thanks for sharing this info. You can bet that I would love to be the one to
massage her sore and aching skater feet. :)

Figure skating is indeed quite rough on the feet. Many professional skaters
have their skates custom made, in order to accomodate painful areas on their
feet, as well as actual bunion deformities. It's not quite as brutal on the
feet as ballet dancing, but certainly many skaters suffer with significant foot
deformity or foot pain. There is one skater who soaks her feet in ice cold
water for about 30-60 minutes in her dressing room, immediately after every
performance, in order to ease the inflammation and pain.
