Hello,

Faithful readers of all my posts should be familiar with the very interesting
possible serial killer case, developing out of the small town of San Luis
Obispo, California. As posted by me in recent weeks, three young gals, ALL of
them college students, have disappeared without a trace from this same small
town, over the past 2-3 years. In one case, blood from one of the victims was
found on a bridge overpass. In another case, the blood of a disappeared gal was
found inside her apartment. But NO actual BODIES had been found. At least not
until NOW.

Yup, police say that they have identified a suspect in TWO out of three
disappearances/killings. He is 33 year old Rex Allen Krebs, an ex-con and
convicted rapist, living in an isolated, rural area near San Luis Obispo.
Police go on to say that HUMAN REMAINS have been found ON Rex's property.
Obviously this last fact is quite significant, and it means that police are
probably right in labelling Rex as a killer, although the body parts have not
been linked to any of the three missing gals, forensically, and it hasn't been
determined for certain that the body parts come from MURDER victims. Still, I
think Rex, who is in custody right now, looks to be a very legitimate suspect
in at least 2 out of the 3 college gal killings.

Right now, the human remains appear to have come from only ONE person,
according to ONE article. But a second article says the remains come from TWO
people. A search of Rex's property is continuing, for possible additional
bodies/victims. Rex is NOT yet charged with murder, but cops say he is their
only suspect at this time, in the two disappearances of gals that have occured
over the past 6 months. A police captain declares: "`We believe Rex Krebs is
responsible for the deaths of Rachel Newhouse and Aundria Crawford." Well, that
wouldn't quite make Rex into a serial killer, but at age 33, I think it's very
possible that he may have harvested a few additional humans, somewhere down the
line.

Rex's Mommy and creator, eager to align herself with society and deny her own
likely guilt in having shaped and formulated her son-slave into becoming a
serial predator, declares: "Oh God, oh God. Why, why, why? I know he's been in
trouble, but I never figured he'd do this. I'm so sorry for the families, for
the girls. If there is something I could do for them, I would.'' Don't worry,
Mommy. Your perversely hypocritical society will not try to impose any legal
blame upon you. Chill out. As a slaveowner, you're let off the hook. Doesn't
really matter to your truth-hating society how much you may have abused and
brutalized your helpless child-slave.

Rex was already a registered sex offender, and was actually arrested last
month, on unrelated charges of weapon's possession and alcohol possession.
Apparently, the parole guidelines he was under PROHIBITED him from possessing
ALCOHOL. How RIDICULOUS, to impose a ban on this LEGAL substance upon this one
specific man, while your society not only LEGALIZES alcohol, but ENCOURAGES all
of it's citizen-slaves to go right ahead and alter their brain chemistry, as a
way of denying the horrific Truths of life.

Rex was still been in jail, serving out his rape sentence, back in 1996 when
the FIRST of the 3 college gals disappeared. That may be why he is NOT being
considered as a suspect in that disappearance/likely murder. Rex spent about
TEN long years in jail, the BEST years of his life, from about age 21 until 31.
But it is clear that all this jail time, which of course involved UNDESERVED
punitive punishment, only served to INCREASE the justifiable rage and hate of
Rex, and probably is what drove him to decide to move UP in class from being a
rapist-predator, to becoming a serial killing predator.

Like ALL serially violent predators, Rex was OF COURSE abused as a child. He
probably would NEVER admit it, not even to save his own life, but luckily he
has a Mommy who, malevolent and abusive as she most likely was, at least is
honest enough to tell us that her ex-hubby DID indeed brutally abuse Rex,
Declares our NEGLIGENT Mommy, who at the very least allowed the abuse to occur
to her slave: "One time my brother was playing around with my son when he was
about 7 years old, Rex fell on his butt and he started crying really loud. My
brother took him into the bathroom and pulled down his pants and his butt and
back were all black and blue." As I always TELL you, folks, EVERY killer in
your society is NOTHING more than a victimized child creation, who is
REFLECTING the brutal mistreament that he himself was forcibly subjected to, by
your society and it's perverse child enslavement policies, AND simple LOGIC
dictates that EVERY societal victim has the RIGHT to seek and claim violent
vengeance, to COMPLETE the cycle of violence that was BEGUN against them, with
MALICE, by your diseased society, and to NOT be subjected to ANY punitive
punishment for simply reflecting back at YOU creatures, the perversity and
torment that you chose to impose upon him, when he was a child.

You can view a photo of one of the victims that Rex is suspected of having
killed, 20 year old Rachel Newhouse, at the following URL:

http://www.msnbc.com/local/KNBC/146958.asp

VERY pretty gal!

By the age of 17 or so, Rex was already committing CRIMES, demonstrating his
VICTIMIZATION, begging for SUPPORT and help and acknowledgement of his his
victim status. Instead, you diseased hypocrites REPEATEDLY chose to impose
punitive punishment upon him. Which of course only served, as it SHOULD have,
for him to develop INCREASED and more brutal rage and hate and violent cravings
for the vengeance he WAS and IS entitled to claim.

Take care, JOE

Human Remains Found in Calif.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) -- Human remains have been found on the property
of a convicted rapist suspected in the deaths of two missing college students,
police said.

The remains of one person were discovered about 150 miles northwest of Los
Angeles on the remote property of Rex Allen Krebs, Capt. Bart Topham said
Friday.

Krebs, 33, of Avila Beach, has not been charged but is the ``sole suspect'' in
the disappearances of Aundria Crawford, missing six weeks, and Rachel Newhouse,
missing for more than five months, Topham said.

``We believe Rex Krebs is responsible for the deaths of Rachel Newhouse and
Aundria Crawford,'' the captain said.

It was the first time police have confirmed that they believe the women are
dead. Ms. Crawford, 20, a Cuesta College sophomore, was kidnapped in March from
her duplex. Ms. Newhouse, 20, a junior at California Polytechnic State
University, San Luis Obispo, was assaulted last November.

``Oh God, oh God,'' said Krebs' mother, Connie Ridley, 53, of Sandpoint, Idaho.
``Why, why, why? I know he's been in trouble, but I never figured he'd do this.
I'm so sorry for the families, for the girls. If there is something I could do
for them, I would.''

Krebs, a registered sex offender, has been in custody since last month for
having a simulated weapon and alcohol, which are parole violations. In 1987, he
pleaded no contest to rape charges and spent about a decade in prison.

Suspect emerges in student vanishings

A jailed parolee is being investigated tion in the disappearance of two women
attending Cal Poly SLO.

April 24, 1999

The Associated Press

SAN LUIS OBISPO — A man jailed on a parole violation was being investigated in
the disappearance of two area college students, police said Thursday.

Rex Allen Krebs was considered a "prime suspect," said police Capt. Bart
Topham.

Details on what led police to Krebs or the reason for his earlier arrest were
not released. As of Thursday evening, Krebs had not been arrested or charged in
the missing-students case.

Investigators were searching the Davis Canyon area Thursday for possible clues,
Topham said.

Three female college students have disappeared in the past three years. Krebs
was being investigated in the disappearances of Aundria Lynn Crawford and
Rachel Newhouse.

Newhouse, a 20-year-old Irvine native who attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo,
was last seen leaving a fraternity party Nov. 12. Authorities found blood
matching her type on a nearby bridge railing.

Crawford, 20, a Cuesta College student, was last seen March 9 and was reported
missing by her mother three days later. Authorities have said they believe
there was foul play involved and that someone had forced his way into her home.

Also missing is Kristen Smart, 19, of Stockton, who disappeared May 25, 1996.
She was last seen outside her campus dormitory.

Human remains found at suspect's home

April 23, 1999

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., April 23 (UPI) San Luis Obispo police say human
remains have been found at the home of a 33-year-old man considered the prime
suspect in the disappearance of two local college students.

Police Capt. Bart Topham said at a news conference today that convicted sex
offender Rex Allen Krebs was arrested for a parole violation and had been in
jail for some time, but hasn't been charged in the cases of 20-year-old missing
students Aundria Lynn Crawford and Rachel Newhouse.

Crawford, a Cuesta College student, was reported missing on March 12, three
days after she was last seen. Police reportedly suspect foul play because they
found blood and signs of forced entry at the duplex where she lived alone.

Newhouse, who attended California Polytechnic State University, disappeared
after leaving a party at a downtown restaurant on Nov. 12. Blood matching her
type was found on a nearby bridge.

Newhouse's parents have traveled from their Irvine home to San Luis Obispo at
the police's request.

Police refused to disclose whether the remains were male or female, saying they
would release more information at a weekend briefing.

Investigators were also looking into the May 1996 disappearance of another
college student, 19-year-old Kristen Smart, who was last seen outside her
college dorm.

Krebs reportedly was paroled in 1997 after serving about half of a 20-year
sentence for burglary and rape, then moved to Davis Canyon about the same time
that Newhouse was reported missing.

Human remains found

By Michael Krikorian
The Fresno Bee
(Published April 24, 1999)

Human remains were found Friday on a remote canyon property rented by a
convicted rapist whom authorities say is the prime suspect in the slaying of
two San Luis Obispo students, including a woman from Clovis.

Police contend Rex Allen Krebs, 33, of Avila Beach is responsible for the
deaths of Aundria Crawford of Clovis and Rachel Newhouse of Irvine. Krebs, who
has not been charged in the slayings, has been jailed on a parole violation
since March 20.

A search of the house and property on Davis Canyon Road where Krebs was staying
led to the discovery of the remains, which authorities declined to identify
Friday.

San Luis Obispo police Capt. Bart Topham repeatedly deflected questions as to
why police felt Krebs was the lone suspect in the students' deaths when only
one body had been found.

"When we have completed all of our crime scene work, we will be able to discuss
more information," Topham said. "Our focus must remain the successful
conclusion and prosecution of this case."

Crawford, 20, was attending Cuesta College when she vanished March 12.
Newhouse, a 21-year-old student at California Polytechnic State University, San
Luis Obispo, disappeared Nov. 12, 1998.

The 5-foot-6, 170-pound Krebs became a target of the investigation shortly
after he was arrested for parole violations.

The families of Crawford and Newhouse could not be reached to comment Friday.
Police summoned them to San Luis Obispo on Thursday afternoon.

However, Krebs' mother was stunned by the news that her son was the lone
suspect in the students' deaths.

"Oh, god. Oh, god. Why? Why? Why?" Connie Ridley, 53, said from her home in
Sand Point, Idaho. "Why the hell did he do this? I know he's been in trouble,
but I never figured he'd ever do this.

"I'm so sorry, so sorry for the families, for the girls. If there was something
that I could do for them, I would."

Krebs served 10 years in California state prisons, most of it in Soledad, for
two violent rapes in 1987 in south San Luis Obispo County. He was paroled in
1997 and returned to Idaho for a short while before returning to the San Luis
Obispo area.

Police have ruled out Krebs as a suspect in the disappearance of Kristen Smart,
another Cal Poly student, because she was reported missing during the time
Krebs was in prison.

Friday morning, before she learned a body had been found on her son's property,
Ridley said she was confident her son was not the killer.

"Things are going so good for him," she said. "He has a new girlfriend with a
baby on the way. He just got a new truck. He has his own place. He has a good
job. Why would he screw up?"

News that Krebs was the prime suspect in the murders brought relief to many in
this college town, which often makes the list of the best small cities in the
United States.

"I know I felt better knowing they arrested somebody," said Christine Smith,
who works full-time as a medical biller but often attends night classes at
Cuesta College. "I grew up in Fresno, and Fresno makes this place seem like
Disneyland. But for the last few months, it's been scary around here."

Rex Allen Krebs was born Jan. 28, 1966, in Idaho. His mother, who has since
remarried, said life was rough because her ex-husband, Al Krebs, would often
hit the young boy.

"One time my brother was playing around with my son when he was about 7 years
old, Rex fell on his butt and he started crying really loud," recalled Ridley,
who separated from her husband when Krebs was 3. "My brother took him into the
bathroom and pulled down his pants and his butt and back were all black and
blue." Attempts to reach Al Krebs in Idaho were unsuccessful.

Toward the end of Krebs' stay at Soledad, his mother went to see him. Her son,
she said, had found the Lord and was "doing really good." It was the last time
she saw him. "If you see him, tell him to call his mom," Ridley said. "And
please, please tell him I love him."

Remains of 2 People Found Near Home of Paroled Sex Offender

San Luis Obispo police hope that the discovery will solve disappearances of two
college students. Suspect has not been charged.

By JOHN M. GLIONNA, SALLY ANN CONNELL, Special to The Times

SAN LUIS OBISPO--In what they called a major break in the disappearance of two
college students, police announced Friday that they have found human remains in
a remote canyon near the home of a paroled sex offender whom they term their
leading suspect.

Rex Allan Krebs, a local lumberyard worker, has not been charged in the
case but remains in custody on an unrelated parole violation, police said in a
late afternoon news conference.

In the last three years, three young women, all of them college students,
have vanished from this tight-knit university town 200 miles north of Los
Angeles.

The missing students include Irvine native Rachel Newhouse, 20, a student
at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Aundria Crawford, a 20-year-old student at
nearby Cuesta College.

"Based on our findings and evidence to date we believe Rex Krebs is
responsible for the deaths of Rachel Newhouse and Aundria Crawford," Capt. Bart
Topham said at the news conference.

The statement marked the first time that authorities have confirmed that
they believe both missing women are dead.

Topham said police had been investigating Krebs in relationship to the
missing women at least since he was arrested in the possession of a BB gun and
alcohol March 22.

The students' disappearances date to May 25, 1996, when Kristin Smart, 19,
was reported missing. She was last seen outside her Cal Poly dormitory,
escorted by a male student after an off-campus party. Authorities emphasize
that Krebs is not a suspect in the Smart disappearance.

On Nov. 12, 1998, Newhouse disappeared while walking home from a
fraternity party at a downtown bar. Police say that she was assaulted near the
downtown train station. Blood matching her type was found on a nearby bridge
railing.

On March 12, Crawford was abducted from the duplex where she lived alone
near downtown San Luis Obispo, police said.

Police on Friday would not indicate whether the remains were male or
female and would not say how close to Krebs' house they were found. But they
did say the remains were found on the property where Krebs lives.

Krebs, 33, is a convicted sex offender with a criminal history dating back
15 years.

According to interviews and court records, Krebs was convicted in 1984 and
sentenced to a term of up to three years for stealing a car in Lewiston, Idaho.

The Sandpoint, Idaho, native was released in April 1986 and finished his
parole 11 months later, when he relocated to San Luis Obispo.

Within months, Krebs was back in custody for the assaults of two separate
women in three different incidents. He pleaded no contest to charges of rape,
forced sodomy, use of a knife and burglary with an intent to commit rape and
sodomy.

Authorities say that on May 24, 1987, Krebs raped a woman after breaking
into her home in Grover Beach, a town 17 miles south of San Luis Obispo.

The next month, according to court records, Krebs broke into the home of a
second woman, who was not home.

He returned 10 days later and attacked the woman with a screwdriver. Court
records show that Krebs severed a tendon in the woman's hand and left her
disabled.

In Krebs' sentencing for the assaults, San Luis Obispo County Superior
Court Judge William R. Fredman said the crime showed a "high degree of
viciousness and callousness."

The judge also raised the specter that Krebs would strike again if he was
let out without proper treatment. Fredman suggested that Krebs be sent to a
Atascadero State Hospital program for mentally disordered sex offenders.

California Department of Corrections officials said Friday that Krebs
never entered the sex offender program but that he did receive psychological
treatment after his parole.

Krebs was sentenced to 20 years but was released on parole after serving
just half that time, on Sept. 2, 1997, more than a year before Newhouse
disappeared, records show.

Art Krebs, the suspect's uncle, reached in Idaho, said he called the
father of Rex Krebs on Friday morning about the developments.

"I called his father and I told him I've got some bad news, that they were
trying to link Rex to these two girls," he said. "He ain't taking this very
good. None of us are. Our hearts just go out to those families."

Krebs said he had not seen his nephew since Rex Krebs moved to California
in 1987. He said that Rex Krebs' father had gone from Idaho to visit his son in
San Luis Obispo about a month ago and had brought home pictures of the two on a
fishing trip.

"Rex had this big handlebar mustache and his head was all shaved. I didn't
recognize the kid," Art Krebs said. "After looking at him for the longest
while, I still didn't see the Rex that I knew."

San Luis Obispo police said Krebs had lived at several local addresses
since his 1997 release but had most recently lived in a house in remote Davis
Canyon, which can only be reached by a dirt road.

On Friday, students said they would never look at the town the same.

"It's changed how we all live here," said Majesta Cuizon, 21, a Cuesta
College student, who attended class with Aundria Crawford.

"There's a little more of an impact when there's actually an empty chair
and you realize that the girl is gone. I don't even take the trash out alone
anymore at night."

Juan Gonzalez, Cal Poly vice president of student affairs, said the
university is breathing easier.

"This is a time of sadness but there's also a tremendous sigh of relief,"
he said. "Our hopes and our prayers are that the police will put together a
case that is ironproof."

Gonzalez said students have planned several marches next week in memory of
the missing women. The events include a candlelight vigil and placement of a
plaque in the student union.

"Students are saying that we cannot take safety for granted," he said,
"that we must remember these young girls."

If you had been incarcerated with him like I was in two different prisons you would feel like I do. I was totally shocked to hear what he did. Just think at one time in 1993, he wanted my sister's address to write to someone.
Wow! Glad I didn't. By the way, we all called him Spuds by his request. He was hooked on dungeons and dragons when we were at Soledad. At Corcoran, I just saw him time to time when we walked the yard together. I paroled in 1993. Didn't know until my trip to Slo in 2001 what he did.
