Finks bikies celebrated what they believed was the successful murder of a rival Mongols gang member who was shot four times in the head and chest, jurors have heard.
Sione Hokafonu is standing trial for the attempted murder of Rocco Curra, who miraculously survived the shooting after being lured to a suburban street in Bulleen and shot at a dozen times on August 1, 2019.
It's alleged Hokafonu was one of two gunmen driven to the scene by Poiva Sita, who is also charged with attempted murder.

Sita's brother, Joseph Opapo, is charged with intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, over an allegation he drove the pair from the scene in a second getaway vehicle after the first was set on fire.
All three have pleaded not guilty and deny any involvement in the shooting.
It's alleged the ambush was a hot topic of conversation among Finks bikies and other associates at their clubhouse in the following days.
When asked why Curra had been shot, Hokafonu allegedly replied "blood for blood or an eye for an eye", the prosecution's key witness told the Victorian Supreme Court on Friday.
The man, who gave evidence from an undisclosed remote location, cannot be identified.
"There was talk amongst everyone that they thought he was dead," he said.
"Hence the celebratory drinks."
The man is expected to face cross-examination next week by the three accused's lawyers, who argue his claims should be heavily scrutinised.
Jurors have already seen CCTV footage from nearby homes on the night, showing a stolen silver BMW hatchback stopping in front of Curra's car.
Footage shows two men jump from the front and back passenger seats and each fire a series of shots - 11 or 12 in total - into Curra's vehicle.

He was struck four times in the head, neck and chest.
Curra attempted to drive away but crashed into a tree, and then stumbled to a nearby home where residents called emergency services.
He spent three weeks in hospital after the shooting, which he was lucky to survive, prosecutor Neill Hutton said.
Curra was targeted only because of his association with the Mongols Motorcycle Club, it's alleged.
There had been a series of incidents between the two clubs in the lead-up, starting with an incident at the Sporting Globe pub at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre where a Mongols associate threw a salt shaker at a television during a State of Origin rugby league match.
(Greg: Throwing something at a bar TV is a no no if it was a home bar for the Finks they would obviously respond with violence. The staff would be intimidated by Mongols club members.)
Members of the two clubs then scuffled, and it's alleged a Finks bikie took a "Support Your Local Mongols" jumper belonging to a club associate as a "trophy".
Hokafonu was shot in the foot days after that interaction, in an alleged act of retaliation for the jumper incident.
Another man, Tavita Sua, is accused of being the second gunman to fire shots at Curra.
His case is being heard separately.

A traffic controller allegedly created a fake Instagram account to seduce a Mongols bikie, before luring him to a home where he was ambushed and shot.
Athar Almatrah, 30, was charged with attempted murder after Rocco Curra was shot in the head and torso four times at Bulleen, in Melbourne, in August 2019.
Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday heard Ms Almatrah allegedly set up an Instagram account under the name 'Sarah Riccardo' and befriended Mr Curra.
Athar Almatrah, 30, allegedly set up an Instagram account under the name 'Sarah Riccardo' and befriended Mr Curra
Detective Senior Constable Scott Harris told the court the Mongol believed he had started a relationship with the fake 'Sarah',
news.com.au reported.
'They spoke regularly, all the way up until the point in time he was shot,' Constable Harris said.
'By the end of that conversation … the victim agreed to come and meet the fake Instagram person at Bulleen specifically at an address.'
He told the court the pair had a 'flirty relationship', and police allegedly tracked the Instagram's IP address to a house where Ms Almatrah was living at the time.
Ms Almatrah is accused of setting up the Instagram account for $5000.
She allegedly discussed the fake account in tapped phone calls with her sister and her then-boyfriend Ali Hussein - one of the alleged shooters.
Constable Harris told the court Ms Almatrah was never paid the money, and furiously demanded Mr Hussein give her the cash.
'I still want my $5k, whatever happens … what's $5k to these c***s,' she said in a recorded call. (Greg: Someone please disfigure this roach with a vagina femme fatale its a old story.)

Her lawyer Zarah Garde-Wilson claimed the $5000 was loaned to Mr Hussein for an unrelated matter and she wanted to be repaid.
Ms Garde-Wilson said her client would fight all the charges and said the prosecution case was 'extremely weak'.
Police have charged 16 people in relation to the shooting of Mr Curra.
Sione Hokafonu and Hussein have been charged with the attempted murder.
Magistrate Trieu Huynh granted Ms Almatrah $100,000 bail. She will return to court in February.
