Excerpt from KJCT channel 8 Grand Junction ABC affiliate

KJCT talked with Blagg one-on-one after the press conference to find out more
about the day he reported Jennifer and Abby missing.

"I leave normally at six," he says. "Jennifer and I try to talk about three
times a day. We usually talk in the morning and usually I try to call her to
tell her what time I'm coming home."

On Tuesday, Blagg says he was never able to reach her. "I kept getting the
answering machine." Blagg, already concerned, says he returned home to an empty
house and a large pool of blood in the master bedroom. "I was pretty frantic and
called 911," he says.

When asked about why Jennifer and Abby weren't at school that day, Blagg says he
has no idea. He thought they were.

Right now Blagg says he's taking it day by day. "It's a nightmare. It's a
nightmare. There's nothing that even vaguely resembles reality in the last
several days to me.

Excerpt:

The Blagg family home on the Redlands still remains a crime scene. "We
anticipate the house will remain sealed for the next few days," says Mesa County
Sheriff's Department Spokeswoman Janet Prell. She says more than 150 pieces of
evidence have been removed from the home. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation
has transported some of the evidence for analysis.

In the meantime, investigators are following new leads, including inspecting at
an area they were lead to by bloodhounds. "They did give us a direction to go
in," says Prell. "We are not going to share that at this point. Unfortunately,
while they did not find Abbey and Jennifer, they did give us some more material
to work with."

In addition, Search and Rescue workers are still combing the nearby Colorado
River. Authorities are considering this a disappearance but as the days go on
the hope of finding Abbey and Jennifer alive dwindles. "I think its safe to
presume that part of this investigation assumes that there may be a death
involved. At this point, the husband of the victims is not considered a suspect,
but authorities say no one has been ruled out."
