Damn, it's really irritating to write out an entire post, and just as I'm
finished and make the post to the NG, my entire computer locks up on me,
forcing me to sign off and LOSE all my writing. That is what happened with the
news item below, but I will take a deep breath, calm down, and try to rewrite
my post a second time, because this case IS a very interesting one.
Over in Indiana, back in 1994, a mobile home caught fire, BURNING a 35 year
old Mommy and her FOUR children, ranging in age from 9 months to 16 years, to
death. Fire investigators quickly determined that this was an arson blaze, and
the logical and prime suspect became the hubby and Daddy, a fellow named
Michael Weber. Michael was interrogated brutally, but because he was and is a
tactically Superior human, he simply maintained his innocence and refused to
fall into any of the TRAPS that detectives no doubt set for him. He was WISE.
He chose to FORCE police to find enough evidence to charge him. He REFUSED to
help them, in terms of making foolish, incriminating statements. He simply
said: "I am a truck driver. I was driving my rig when this fire occured. I was
not even in the state of Indiana. I had nothing to do with this fire." Guess
what folks? It WORKED. POlice and prosecutors simply could not come up with
enough incriminating evidence to either arrest or charge Michael with any
crime. And so, for 4+ GLORIOUS years, Michael lived in complete freedom, AFTER
having burned his entire family to death. Very impressive!
Throughout these 4+ years, Michael maintained a very pro-active approach to
the situation of being the PRIME suspect. Instead of simply sitting back,
Michael called out the media to come to him, he gave press conferences
maintaining his innocence, CRITICIZING police for not finding the "real"
killer(s), even suggesting that police KNEW who the real killer was but were
covering up for the killer. I think this was another WISE strategy on Michael's
part. It served to help keep the police OFF BALANCE and confused. I also think
it MIGHT help Michael at his upcoming trial, if one or more of the jurors SAW
his televised claims of innocence and found him to be believable.
You see folks, there is some BAD news to this story. After 4+ years of
glorious freedom, a federal grand jury finally did INDICT Michael yesterday,
charging him with five counts of arson resulting in death. He was arrested
yesterday, immediately after the indictment was handed down, and surrendered
peacefully. I think Michael should keep on claiming to be totally innocent.
Just because after 4+ years, prosecutors somehow managed to get a grand jury to
indict Michael, does not in any way mean that they have enough evidence to win
a conviction against him. I don't think they have any solid forensic or DNA
evidence at all. Maybe they have an informant or an eyewitness, but Michael
should just stay cool and stick with his story of being nowhere near the mobile
home when the arson fire broke out.
Prosecutors say they might even seek the death penalty against Michael. But I
doubt it. Their case is a WEAK one, IMO. Prosecutors refuse to say what new
evidence they may have uncovered recently, against Michael. But it's hard to
imagine them coming up with a real "smoking gun", 4 long years after the crime
occured.
We learn that just one DAY before the fatal fire, michael's wife did speak to
a cop, and told the cop that she was afraid of hubby Michael, and was going to
divorce him. Of course this conversation in NO way implicates Michael with
regard to the settiing of the fire.
Anyway, the lesson to be learned from this case, for all aspiring or actual
predators, is to follow Michael's example in terms of dealing with cops. NEVER
admit guilt. Come up with a SIMPLE and clear story, if you decide to talk to
cops, and then STICK to the story, no matter what. Don't make your alibi
complicated, make it simple. And then, no matter WHAT cops say, don't let
yourself be rattled or confused or intimidated. Of course the BEST advice, in
most cases, is to completely REFUSE to talk to cops. Don't even say a WORD.
Force them to develop their case against you without a single WORD escaping
your lips.
Michael did a good job. No matter what happens in the future, he got to enjoy
FOUR+ years of complete freedom, AFTER having massacring his entire family,
wife & four kids. That's pretty impressive.
Take care, JOE

Man Arrested in Family's 1994 Death
HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) -- A man who maintained for years that he had nothing to do
with the 1994 mobile home fire that killed his wife and four children has been
charged in their deaths.
A federal grand jury indicted 44-year-old Michael Weber on Thursday on charges
of arson resulting in death. He was jailed in Chicago.
Prosecutors said they have not decided whether to seek the death penalty.
Weber's wife, Marsha, 35, and their children, ages 9 months to 16 years, died
near Hebron in a fire that investigators said had been set. Weber, a truck
driver, said he was on the road in Wisconsin at the time.
Over the past four years, he denied any involvement, calling news conferences
to proclaim his innocence. He offered explanations ranging from gang activity
to a police cover-up.
Federal prosecutors wouldn't comment Thursday about the motive or what led to
the break in the case.
Former Hebron Police Chief Keith Foor said Thursday that Weber was always the
prime suspect.
The day before the fire, Foor said, a Hebron officer talked with Mrs. Weber
outside the mobile home. ``She was upset and in fear of her husband and said
she was planning to get a divorce,'' the former police chief said.

Hello,
I hope you are not expecting me to get all upset and grace you with a long
reply. I don't respond to these types of troll posts. Suffice it to say that I
made all the points I wanted to make in my initial post, and your reply to my
post does not change any of my sentiments and is found to be unworthy of the
time involved for a rebuttal.
You are entitled to your bigoted and hypocritical opinion, as expressed
above.
Take care, JOE
