BABY FACE KILLER: COLORADO v. TOMBS
Two familes in Denver, Colorado were more than friends; they each had daughters
who were so close that they called each other "cousin" and the head of each
household was a respected religious leader. The families were torn apart when
Jennifer Tombs, the sixteen year old daughter of one family is charged with the
shooting death of the other family's twenty-three year old daughter, Tanya
Lavallais. The motive is almost as shocking as the crime. The prosecution says
Jennifer planned a party while her mother was out of town but Tanya got in the
way when she came over to babysit.

GEORGIA v. SANDLIN
Baby Matthew died accidentally when he was only 4 months old. His sister Tracy
was two at the time and her family later told her she was responsible for the
accident. But, she believed something else happened. Determined to get to the
truth, 25 years later she gets an investigator at the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation to reopen the investigation. The baby's body is exhumed and her
father, Jan Barry Sandlin, is charged with Matthew's murder. Tracy has recently
optioned her story for a made for TV movie.
