On COURT-TV's "Crime Stories" Friday 5/28/99:

TOMATO PATCH MURDER: GEORGIA v. CROWDER
This is a story of a family rife with abuse and anger that culminates with one
family member killing another. Did Thurman Martin, a man who allegedly beat his
grandchildren and raped his daughter deserve to die? Crime Stories investigates
this murder in which Billy Crowder, Martin's abused grandson is charged with
shooting his grandfather in the head and burying him in the backyard garden.
The show includes an interview with the defendant.

HOLLYWOOD BETRAYAL: DUX v. VAN DAMME
Martial arts film star Jean Claude Van Damme is sued by a former friend who
claims Van Damme cheated him out of a small fortune in movie profits. Frank Dux
is not only a martial arts champion himself, but some of Van Damme's success
can be attributed to Dux. In fact "Bloodsport," Van Damme's first hit movie,
was based on Dux's life. In a Los Angeles courtroom the two old friends face
each other for the first time in five years, each claiming the other is lying.
