CRANBROOK, B.C. — Mounties in British Columbia say they had to break up a fight between rival outlaw motorcycle gangs from Alberta that sent several people to hospital.
RCMP say they were called to the fight at a gas station in Cranbrook early Friday evening, and they say front-line officers flooded the area and were successful in separating the two groups.
Police say that shortly after, they were called to the local hospital where five people showed up with apparent stab wounds.
Police say the hospital was temporarily placed under lockdown while the injured were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and they say additional officers in the hospital's parking lot were needed to prevent further violence between the rival gangs.
All of the injured were released after receiving treatment, and RCMP say they escorted one group from the city.
No arrests have been made, but police say they're still investigating.
Police add that there's no indication the fight is related to an ongoing conflict in B.C.'s Lower Mainland.

Cranbrook, General Investigation Services
2021-07-24 11:47 PDT
On July 23 at approximately 7 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP were called to a local gas station on Cranbrook Street North for a report of multiple people fighting. Front line officers flooded the area and were able to separate the two groups, determined to be rival outlaw motorcycle gangs from Alberta.
Shortly after, officers were called to the local hospital, where a total of 5 individuals attended with apparent stab wounds. The hospital was temporarily placed under lock down while injured parties were being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers stationed in the parking lot were able to prevent further violence between members of both gangs who had attended the hospital, but were refused entry.
All injured individuals were released after receiving treatment and one group was escorted out of town by the Cranbrook RCMP.
At this time, no arrests have been made and the investigation is being led by the Cranbrook RCMP General Investigation Section, with support from the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia. There is no indication that this incident is related to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict.

Police said there's no indication the fight is connecting to the ongoing gang conflict in B.C.'s Lower Mainland.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebels_Motorcycle_Club_(Canada) The Rebels patch hasn't been seen in Canada since 1998. They were considered a hang around club by the BC Hell's Angels. I knew some of the guys from when I worked as a bartender at the Saxony Motor Inn 15540 Stony Plain Rd in Edmonton 1985-1987 some of the patches girlfriends and wives worked there as waitresses. I remember when a group of Hell's Angels from Quebec showed up after the Lennoxville massacre of the North chapter of H.A. there by their fellow Red and White for owing $70k for cocaine and being mostly flagrant homosexuals the visiting Quebec 1%ers were accorded mucho respect by the Rebels MC who were regulars in the bar. I saw Butch Porter 22 years ago in New Westminster, BC driving an old beater 4 door but he always had an old beater car as well as his Harley he smiled at me.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebels_Motorcycle_Club There is a Rebels MC 1% club in Australia with a presence in New Zealand but their patch is different than the one that used to fly in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The gas station station in Cranbrook should have security video of the incident be great if it ended up on Youtube and Facebook.
