Adds an interesting bit to this mystery, though the implications are
unfortunate -maybe mom has a temper?

HIBBING, Minn. -- The mother of missing Chisholm 5-year-old LeeAnna
``Beaner'' Warner was arrested and charged after allegedly hitting her
husband with a car on Saturday after an argument. He was not seriously hurt.

On Monday, Kaelin Warner, 29, of Chisholm, was charged with one count of
criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm and one count of
hit-and-run, both gross misdemeanors. She was released from the St. Louis
County jail after posting $5,000 bail.

Warner, as she is commonly known, was charged under the her legal name,
Tiffany Kaelin Whittaker.

Assistant County Attorney Jeff Vlatkovich, who is prosecuting the case,
described the argument as a ``typical family disagreement'' that was not
connected to the missing girl. ``There's no indication that it's related to
that,'' he said.

Tuesday was the four-month anniversary of LeeAnna's disappearance.

The Hibbing Police Department said in a criminal complaint that they
received a call about 9:30 p.m. Saturday that a man had been hit by a car.
When police arrived, they found Christopher Warner with fresh scrapes on his
left calf and knee. Warner refused medical attention.

Warner told police that he had been arguing with his wife in a red Chevrolet
Cavalier parked near a convenience store when he decided to get out and
start walking. He claimed Whittaker drove the car across a sidewalk and yard
in an attempt to hit him.

Fearing for his life, he told police he jumped out of the way but was hit on
the left leg and arm. He said watched Whittaker drive away and called 911.

Police caught up with Whittaker in Chisholm. According to the report, she
told them during questioning that she had difficulty putting the car into
gear, which resulted in her driving the car through the yard. She said she
didn't hit Warner.

Officers found car tracks running the length of the yard and black tire burn
marks on the sidewalk, according to the police report.

The Chisholm Police Department also interviewed the couple for a possible
domestic dispute earlier that night in their Chisholm home.

LeeAnna has been missing since June 14. She was last seen by her parents at
5:30 p.m. when she went to a friend's home roughly one block from their
home.

Could mean a bunch of stuff such as:

1. Mom has a temper and maybe she killed the kid and buried her without dad
knowing.
2. Dad killed the girl and mom knows he did and is protecting him but she got
pissed at something else and decided to run him over.
3. Dad and mom killed her together and are seriously stressed about keeping
themselves out of jail.
4. Dad and mom know who kidnapped her and have been threatened. (perhaps the
kidnapping was over drugs)
5. Neither mom nor dad killed her, they don't know who did and are simply
extremely stressed (naturally) over losing their daughter.

I can understand it if it's #5.
