In which case, it's a bullshit prosecution. This country gets more
puritanical every year.

Former Police Officer, Wife Allegedly Sold Rape Videos
Indictment Unsealed Wednesday
POSTED: 8:28 p.m. CDT June 18, 2003
DALLAS -- A former Dallas police officer and his wife have been indicted on
federal charges of selling videotapes depicting rapes, authorities said.
Garry Layne Ragsdale, 34, and Tamara Michelle Ragsdale, 32, who live in Fort
Worth, were indicted in March on one count of conspiracy to mail obscene
material and two counts of mailing obscene material and aiding and abetting.
The indictment was unsealed Wednesday, according to the U.S. Attorney's
Office in Dallas.
If convicted, the Ragsdales each face a maximum sentence of 20 years in
prison and $750,000 fine. The couple was released on a personal recognizance
bond, and their trial was set for next month.
Authorities said that from April to July 1998, the couple ran a business
called G Rags Inc. and had an Internet site offering videotapes showing rape
scenes, including the "Real Rape Video Series" and "Brutally Raped Video
Series."
Dallas police could not immediately determine when Ragsdale worked for the
department.
