Hello,

Okay folks, it is time for me to begin my christmas holiday posting spree. My
goal is to make 10 new on-topic TC News thread posts today, and another 10
tomorrow. Will I meet my goal? Only time will tell, but I will give it my best
shot.

Speaking of shot, it seems as though a Walgreen's drugstore employee was not
in much of a chrismassy yesterday. The 28 year old man, Jay Rivas Hernandez Jr,
was only HIRED by Walgreen's two days ago, as a temporary employee to cover the
very busy christmas shopping season. But within 48 hours of beginning work, Jay
decided that being a working stiff was not his style, and even though he only
had a short time to build up rage and hate for the company and his fellow
co-workers, he decided to undertake a workplace shooting spree.

Armed with a handgun, Jay shot two co-worked, killing one man and injuring a
woman. The 25 year old gal was shot in the FOOT, and will recover. In fact she
has already been released from the hospital, and no doubt told to stay OFF her
feet for awhile. I bet her foot was hurting pretty bad from the bullet, but I
wouldn't be surprised if her foot was ALREADY hurting, prior to being shot.
Sounds like a job at this drugstore warehouse involves a good deal of walking
around, and many female employees no doubt suffer from foot pain. Male
employees too, but since my fetish only deals with female foot pain, I really
don't care about the men and their possible footsy distress.

After shooting his two co-workers, Jay fled the warehouse, but was quickly
located and arrested by arriving cops. He offered no resistance to the arrest.
Jay faces murder and attempted murder charges, and will definately be spending
his christmas in the slammer. No word on whether Jay was WANTING to commit a
MAJOR mass murder, but he obviously fell short, in only shooting 2 humans and
killing 1.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was some kind of a HUGE massacre today,
christmas eve? So many people would have their holiday RUINED, relatives and
friends of all the victims, in addition to the dead & injured victims
themselves. Yup, today would be a good day for a major terrorist attack or
massacre. Just call me Scroog...@aol.com for today. :)

Take care, JOE

One killed, one wounded in shooting at Walgreen's warehouse

WOODLAND, Calif. (AP) -- One person is dead and another wounded following a
shooting at a drugstore chain warehouse near Sacramento.

A temporary employee at the Walgreen's distribution center in Woodland suddenly
pulled out a gun Wednesday afternoon and opened fire, hitting a male employee
in the head and wounding a woman in the foot, police said.

"For an unknown reason, he pulled out a gun and just started shooting," said
Lt. Doug Bera. "He did not say anything. He just started firing and took off
running."

The suspected shooter was identified as Jay Rivas Hernandez Jr., 28, of
Woodland, who had been on the job only two days at the warehouse.

He was arrested a short distance away without resistance, said Bera. He was
found with a semiautomatic handgun, he said.

The victims were identified as Rodolfo Barron, 58, and Reena Garrett, 25, both
from Woodland. Barron died from the gunshot wound to the head, and Garrett was
treated and released, Bera said.

Police chaplains were at the warehouse to comfort co-workers Wednesday. Some
250 people work at the center every day, Walgreen's officials told police.
