The founder of Granada TV, Sydney Bernstein, is the father of Hugh
Mountain a.k.a. Michael Mountain and known by his religious name
Father Aaron. Michael Mountain co-founded The Process, Church of the
Final Judgment with Robert DeGrimston a.k.a. Robert Moore or Moor
a.k.a. Christ. The church first incorporated in Louisiana in 1968 and
Michael has continued to this day to be the President. The Process has
changed it's name several times and is now Best Friends Animal Society
in Kanab, Utah, www.bestfriends.org. Here you will find more than 20
of The Process "founders" along with Mary Anne MacLean (or McLean) and
her inner-circle, all living on a 23,000 acre ranch called Angel's
Canyon (Manson called his ranch Devil's Canyon.) They operate the
"World's Largest and Most Beloved Animal Sanctuary." Yea, right!

When Sydney Bernstein died in 1992, Michael Mountain became an heir to
his fortune. Over the years he has contributed large amounts of money
to The Process Church. To this day, much is written about their
connections to the Son of Sam murders, the Manson murders, the Zodiac
killer, human and animal sacrifices and many more heinous crimes.
Whether or not these accusations are true is again under
investigation.

Have any of you researched The Process and always hit a dead-end?
Well I'm ready to expose what I have found in my research to anyone
seriously interested.

One important note that I want to make clear is that I am convinced
that the lower-level members had no idea what the inner-circle was
doing. They were used as a front to defend the group and claim any
allegations as totally false.

I remember a group called The Process during the 1970s.
Seemed like they were trying to combine christianity with
satanism or something. Is that the one?

Yeah. They never really amounted to much, but some dingbat decided to make
them The Most Evil Religion Ever and the Source of All Wretchedness back in
the 80's...Geraldo did some shows about it and there was a book called The
Ultimate Evil or some crap.

...which is why numbskull occult conspiracy freaks are still obsessed with
them. I have no idea if they're even around anymore in any real sense.

The fuss started wuth Fug Eric Sander's book "The Family" - still the
best book on the Manson thing - a chapter The Process was cut from the
US book after a lawsuit.
I remember their magazines in the late sixties - a bit spooky
dualist good/evil stuff.
The "Ultimate Evil" book was the biggest pile of horseshit ever
assembled between two covers.
They were said to be influenced by scientology and the OTO.
Scientology's founder, LRon Hubbard, was 2nd-in-command of the OTO in
California in the late forties.
I must say, if this is the current incarnation of the Process, it
looks like they've become pretty benign. What a fluffy, touchy-feely
site! They look harmless - is it worth embarrassing them over misspent
youth?

Mary Anne lives in seclusion on the ranch in Utah and Robert
DeGrimston lives on the east coast and is an executive with a
telecommunications company. They left Scientology in 1963 to form
their own group, Compulsion Analysis, using teachings from Hubbard,
Crowley, Hegel and others. A few years later, The Process Church was
created.

The groups popping up on the internet are not part of the original
inner-circle Process Church. Many are trying to restart the church
using the teachings of DeGrimston and Crowley. Best Friends Animal
Society has kept their past/present satanic beliefs and criminal
agenda hidden until it was recently exposed. Their Articles of
Incorporation dated back to 1968 show they are the original founders
and co-founders of The Process, Church of the Final Judgment ... and
much more.

Anyone thinking they were mearly a benign group hasn't done their
research. An enormous amount of conspiracy-theory type disinformation
has been published in order to make the facts less believable.
Remember, they were once Scientologists.

This quote from Michael Newton dispells the rumors that the authors
were sued. I have verified this as being true.

"... the lawsuits were not "won" by either cult. Complaints were
filed, and the US publisher folded (as they so often do, for economic
reasons) without a trial. In Britan, where the Process claim went to
trial, the cult lost. Sanders's claims are substantiated by Bugliosi's
HELTER SKELTER, by Terry's THE ULTIMATE EVIL, and by FBI files on the
Process, declassified and available for release under FOI since 1980".

Elsie,

The Process Church established by the original founders no longer
exists, but the "malignant entity" they created sure does. And what
better cover than a sweet animal sanctuary. According to their
accountant, John Fripp aka Father John and one of the two members to
visit Manson in prison, they received $18,000,000 in donations last
year alone and all from unsuspecting, animal loving people. Could the
figure be higher? Well, John, a founder, has been their accountant
since 1968. Their board of directors consists solely of original
"founders" and NEVER has an outsider been on their board.

Are they still involved in criminal activities? The inner-circle still
maintains complete control over the information that goes in and out
of the organization. Their forum is moderated, their radio talk show
is prerecorded, microphones and video cameras are throughout the
sanctuary, a large compound called "The Lake House", is guarded and
off-limits to anyone other than the founders. Companies that public
records show as FOR-profit and owned privately by founders, are funded
by donations and grants to their NON-profit corporation, Best Friends
Animal Society. Their secrecy and extensive, highly believable cover
indicate something is still going on, doesn't it?

People who knew the controlling Mary Anne MacLean find it hard to
believe that she would start an benign animal sanctuary and not have
something else up-her-sleeve.

Yes indeed The Process does exist. In fact we will answer any and all
questions concerning The Process. We are at

One thing which you should know is that Best Friends is in no way
connected with The Process, they are no longer Processeans.

Well, Angela, you may have been there, but you obviously didn't know
what was going on with the inner-circle. If you did you wouldn't be
posting that you were there in public view!

Best Friends Animal Society IS in fact The Process Church of the Final
Judgment and have just changed their name several times. They have
the original corporation and therefore own all of The Process
materials.

This Scientology "splinter" group is run much the same as their Co$
mentors' and are nearly as bad. The main difference is they use
animals as their front rather than "religion" ... now.

How do you know things which you say that I do not?
Please share the source of your materials. The original incorporation
of The Process Church of the Final Judgment was dissolved in Louisiana
when they removed Robert De Grimston and changed their name to the
Foundation Church of the Millenium. Process materials are in fact
owned by Robert De Grimston as The Foundation rejected a request for
compensation by Robert in a court of law.
I can refer you to a book published by a Ph.D in sociology on The
Process. It is called "Satan's Power", author William Sims Bainbridge.
It is out of print but used copies are available at several
booksellers.
I would be very interested in seeing the source of your information.
Enlighten me.

Angela,

Like I said to you in another post, if you were "part" of the
"inner-circle" you wouldn't be posting. You may have talked with them
as I would presume other members also had, but you don't know the real
secrets. My intention is not to destroy your theology or your desire
to restart The Process, but to expose those that had a different
agenda than the innocent members, such as yourself. Perhaps by doing
this it would clear the name of your group from the many rumors that
have been directed at those not involved for so many years. Whether
or not the scriptures are part of the original corporation isn't a
concern to me and you should discuss this with an attorney.

Did you know that William Sims Bainbridge, once with Scientology, then
The Process Church, then The Family-Children of God works for the
government as Deputy Director of the Division of Information and
Intelligent Systems for the National Science Foundation? Take a look
at what he's involved with then tell me you don't find it curious that
a sociologist of religion would be Deputy Director for the NSF and a
well-known apologist for these cults.
http://www.cise.nsf.gov/staff/stff.cfm?lan=wbainbri

Here is a quote from Bainbridge's book "The Sociology of Religious
Movements", about The Family-Children of God;
"... finds it to be a remarkably creative, humane, and spiritual
alternative to the ordinary denominations."

And here is a quote from his book "Satan's Power", about The Process
Church;
"...I found a remarkably aesthetic and intelligent alternative to
conventional religion"

Read some of Bainbridge's research on Galactic Religion, Cloning,
Converging Technologies and Nanotechnology. Cults are nothing more
than part of his government research project for a new world global
order.
http://mysite.verizon.net/william.bainbridge/dl/digit.htm

The Process Church was/is heavily into astral projection now called
remote viewing, a clear connection to Bainbridge and converging
technologies.

Converging Technologies Can Improve Human Performance, Report Says
The convergence of nanoscale research with other sciences and
technologies has created a vast opportunity to enhance human
performance, scientists say in a report released today titled
"Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance." The report,
issued by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Department of
Commerce, examines the integrated role of nanotechnology,
biotechnology, information technology, and cognitive science in
improving mental and physical performance.

The recommendations outlined in the executive summary are
"far-reaching and fundamental, urging the transformation of science,
engineering and technology at its very roots. The new developments
will be revolutionary and must be governed by respect for human
welfare and dignity."

In the report, scientists recommend the United States designate as a
national priority the research and development of technologies that
enhance human abilities and efficiencies. Examples include machines,
devices and materials to optimize human interaction and enhance work
efficiency, learning, and sensory and cognitive capabilities. Such
technologies could revolutionize health care, ease the consequences of
disabilities and aging, and enable novel communication techniques.

The document also suggests strategies to prepare key organizations and
sectors of society for the envisioned changes. The findings and
recommendations are the result of a December 2001 workshop at NSF.
http://www.nsf.gov/nano

Nanotechnology: Tiny Science, Huge Threat
Nanotech is a field in which industrial, medical and military
scientists manipulate single molecules or atoms at the scale of
one-billionth of a meter. The two primary results are super-tiny
super-computers and a vastly enhanced ability to mesh living and
non-living material. The US government predicts that nanotech will be
a trillion dollar industry within ten years.

Nanopatriarch Richard Smalley calls it "the ultimate level of
control." Mihail Roco, chairman of the now $800 million National
Initiative on Nanotechnology (thanks to OR Sen. Ron Wyden) envisions
using nanotech to ramp up the integration of humans and machines to
create a "global hive-consciousness" as the next step towards
"conquest of nature." (National Science Foundation/US Dept. of
Commerce Report, "Converging Technologies to Improve Human
Performance" June
http://www.cascadiamedia.org/commentary_nano.html

Religious Opposition to Cloning by William Sims Bainbridge, Ph.D.
"... dogmatic religious opposition is not rooted in technical or
humanitarian concerns, but in a view of existence that is incompatible
with scientific progress. There is no peaceful way to overcome such
opposition, short of converting believers away from their
strongly-held, literalistic faith. We must therefore anticipate a long
period of overt conflict between secular advocates and religious
opponents of cloning. If the opponents succeed in establishing strict
anti-cloning laws world-wide, then the conflict may become especially
harsh with the real (and unfortunate) possibility of violence. Those
who believe that human reproductive cloning violates God's laws are
unlikely to show tolerance for scientists who defy the supposedly
sacred prohibition".

Thank you for that information. As there have been several re-starts

If they choose to challenge our right to do so, then they will be

Perhaps it is time to incorporate our group. Yes, indeed it is.

Indeed there was a Schism in early 1974. Robert De Grimston was
removed as Teacher and a new church called The Foundation Church of
the Millenium was formed. In reality the 'new' church dropped Christ
and Satan as Gods and kept Jehovah and Lucifer (Lucifer is not Satan).
Lucifer was eventually dropped as well leaving only Jehovah as God.
A small number of faithful Processeans tried in vain to re-start The
Process. Neither side could be considered 'dark'. If you want to come

Further in keeping with your statement would you be implying that
the U.S. Gov't was wrong to use the talents of Wehrner Von Braun in
the advancement of the Rocket engines. Since prior to creating his
image as a scientist interested in the advancement of space
exploration, Von Braun was the top rocket scientist for the Nazi
regime of WWII Germany.

In case you didn't read my reply in another newsgroup, I shall copy it
here.

Br. Isaiah says there is no proof [of their crimes]. He is wrong.
The founders and members of the original Process Church of the Final
Judgment have been underground for the past 25 years and their
whereabouts was not discovered until our investigative team found them
under a new identity and purely be accident. We're now calling for a
Grand Jury Investigation and soon we'll have a petition to sign on our
website for anyone wanting the truth to be finally told. This is an
evil group and we can prove it, so let's all share our discoveries
before the Grand Jury, Colin.

You and Angela have no clue what you are putting yourselves in the
middle of by implicating your involvement with The Process. I DO
trust that you didn't know what the high-level, secret-society members
were actually doing, as was always the case with members and still is
in their "secular" front.

Maury Terry and many others have worked on this case for over 35 years
and know more than you could ever know. You are also wrong about
Jimmy Rothstein. He was speaking about the reason they were not
arrested back in the 70s. You only mention part of what he actually
said, leaving out the fact that high-ups in the police department
suddenly closed the case! The Ultimate Evil was written back in the
mid-eighties and more has been learned since then. In Terry's 1999 (I
think it was) edition he added an epilogue which included more of his,
at the time, updated research. I highly recommend you read that
edition.

It irks me to read the nonsense Angela posts about us spreading hate
and lies. None of us receive a dime for our hard work and in fact are
using our own money. To those that understand disinformation tactics,
you and Angela (the only 2 members trying to restart the church) are
far from developed in this technique and your tactic is quite visible.
She was even called on the carpet in a anti-Scientology newsgroup for
doing this.

Whether or not you restart The Process, I don't really care, but to
say that the people at Best Friends aren't part of it is ludicrous.
Their corporate papers go back to 1968, when they first incorporated
as The Process Church of the Final Judgment, through all their
different name changes, up to their current identity which is Best
Friends Animal Society. You were just members ... you have no legal
right to say you ARE The Process Church and they were just members.
Yet you and Angela refuse to stop spreading your disinformation even
though I sent the documentation to Angela. If you would like, I can
post the hate mail and posts I've received from Sis. Angela. I'm
uncertain of your true motives, but I'm beginning to suspect something
other than it just being your love for The Process doctrine.

I suggest you rethink your approach and perhaps start from scratch
using Process doctrines, but divorcing yourself from the past. Just
my opinion. Visit our website and read what the members were (are?)
doing behind your back. Consider the possibility something could be
learned and we're not just "out to get you." Sign the petition and
let's put it all out on the table. For 35 years people have debated
this issue and it's about time we all knew the truth, wouldn't you
agree?

Timothy Wiley made note in his time line of the PCOTFJ that in 1970 the DeGrimstones left London and settled in Key Largo. Aside from this one reference I have been unable to find information regarding this. Does any one have any information regarding there time in Key Largo?
