Hello,

Okay folks, we have a LOT of very interesting crime news out today, and I
have 8+ hours worth of outdoor/public tasks & chores. So, without any delay, I
must and will plunge in and go on a posting spree, right now. Sorry if my
commentaries are briefer than usual, but I have to get in at LEAST 6 new thread
items today, and my time is limited.

We have a FASCINATING update on 47 year old Hadden Clark, right here. This
case has NOT gotten a LOT of national media attention, but I predict that is
about to CHANGE, right now. Hadden, a former NAVY brainwashee of your diseased
society, was kicked out of the Navy about 15 years ago, after being diagnosed
as a paranoid schizophrenic. He proceeded to KILL two people, a 6 year old
girl, and a 23 year old Harvard graduate gal, in Massachusetts. Captured, he
was put on trial and found Guilty of both murders, sentenced to 70 years in
prison.

Police had NO idea that Hadden had in fact harvested ADDITIONAL victims,
until he CHOSE to ADMIT to investigators a few weeks ago, that he WAS indeed a
genuine SERIAL killer, with additional victims under his belt. Now, FASCINATING
new details are emerging! Hadden is now indicating that he may have harvested
ELEVEN additional victims, in addition to these two that he has already been
convicted of killing. All 11 are believed to be FEMALE, and SOME are female
CHILDREN.

Hadden is ALSO admitting that he ATE the FLESH of some of his victims! Yup,
we have a genuine CANNIBAL-serial killer on our hands, folks! How VERY
exciting! Of course we still need to get some CONFIRMATION of these killings,
Hadden has GRACIOUSLY pointed out to police, exactly where he says he BURIED
some of his victims, outside of a MA retirement home where his grandpa lived.
SMART choice, I bet the FAINT stench of DEATH doesn't realy arouse great
suspicion in and around a retirement home, since people DIE at those homes
fairly often.

Police state: "Hadden ate his victims because he wanted to become the women
and girls he killed." FASCINATING reason! Even MORE intriguing than Jeffrey
Dahmer's reason, of "wanting to possess a part of them forever", although the
BASIC rationale is the same. In another eye-popping detail, we learn that
Hadden REFUSED to tell police where the bodies were buried, unless and until
they GAVE him some WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR, that they DID indeed purchase at K-Mart
and give to him! Very specifically: "Hadden became uncooperative and demanded
police buy him women's clothing before he pointed out his graves. Officers made
a run to K-mart for a skirt, bra, panties and stockings to get Clark to help
with the investigation. He rejected the skirt because it was too big but
accepted the underwear." Wowzers, looks like Hadden is STILL very much obsessed
with "becoming a woman", crossdressing, fondling women's clothes, etc... This
is all on TOP of the HOMICIDAL rage that obviously lies at the CORE of his
serial slaughter spree.

Last week, Hadden DID lead police to the NEVER recovered body of his 6 year
old female victim, Michelle Dorr, that he was already CONVICTED of killing. She
was slaughtered WAY back in 1986. Obviously this gives Hadden's current claims
a LOT of credibility. So far, NO bodies have been found to positively
substantiate Hadden's claim to have harvested more than these 2 victims, but I
feel he IS telling the truth, and it's just a matter of time before more
victims are found. The weather is apparently VERY bad in MA, and that is
hampering the digging.

After getting thrown out of the toxic, morality and soul destroying US Navy,
Hadden got work in restaurants. Co-workers tell us that Hadden drank BLOOD from
fresh ANIMAL meat, while working at the restaurants! Cool! The details of
Hadden's life, and of his life ACHIEVEMENTS & PATH, just get more and more
fascinating with EACH new revealed detail!

Hadden's BROTHER, a fellow named Bradfield Clark, is ALSO a convicted
murdered, and DISMEMBERED his california victim! He is currently in prison,
serving out a second degree murder sentence. AND, the REASON why Hadden is
co-operating with police NOW, is apparently because a FELLOW inmate convinced
him that HE is jesus christ, and Hadden should do everything that "Jesus" tells
him. This other inmate, by virtue of his OUTRAGEOUS deception, is getting to
LEAVE prison and ACCOMPANY Hadden on these victim body searches. Man, what a
case! Hopefully Hadden will now start to receive the NATIONAL and international
fame that he DESERVES.

You can view a NICE facial photo of Hadden, as well as a pic of cute, well,
she USED to be cute, now she is only a skeleton at best, 6 year old victim
Michelle, over at:

http://www.msnbc.com/local/WVIT/349389.asp

lease read ALL of the below articles, despite the fact that some of the
details are repeated. In one of the LAST articles, one of Hadden's OTHER
brothers reveals fascinating details on what Hadden was like as a child. It was
while IN the Navy that Hadden was BRUTALLY ASSAULTED, most likely by fellow
navy brainwashees, and suffered a MASSIVE HEAD INJURY. Ever since then, his
behavior has been even MORE erratic, BUT he clearly showed signs of RAGE and
HATE, from childhood on. His Daddy committed SUICIDE soon after Hadden was
first QUESTIONED in regard to the harvesting 6 year old Michelle.

Wish I had the TIME to offer more comments, but I don't. Just a REMARKABLE
case!

Take care, JOE

Cape Cod serial killer admits to cannibalism

by J.M. Lawrence
Boston Herald

Tuesday, January 18, 2000

A convicted serial killer who now claims to have killed two women in Vermont
and cannibalized his victims has shown police where he buried bodies outside
his grandpa's Wellfleet retirement home, according to a report.

Hadden Clark, 47, who pointed out his burial sites Saturday, ate his victims
because he ``wanted to become the women and girls he killed,'' the Cape Cod
Times reported, quoting police sources.

Clark may have killed as many as 11 females including children, sources told
the paper.

He led police to the sites only after they placated him by buying him some
women's underwear at K-Mart, the paper said.

Hampered by snow and bitter cold weather over the weekend, state police
investigators will continue this week to probe the land that Clark pinpointed.

``Clark definitely provided us with information that compels us to get back to
certain locations in Wellfleet as soon as possible,'' state police Sgt. James
Plath said.

Kicked out of the Navy after doctors labeled him a paranoid schizophrenic 15
years ago, Clark now is serving a combined 70 years in a Maryland prison for
killing a 6-year-old girl and a 23-year-old Harvard graduate.

Last week, he led Maryland police to the body of the child he stabbed to death,
Michele Dorr. She had disappeared on Memorial Day from her family's yard in
Silver Spring in 1986. Clark was convicted of her murder last October.

Clark told police he abducted two other victims in Vermont and buried them on
Cape Cod.

He spent several summers living with his grandparents on a 7-acre property on
South Pamet Point Road that has since changed owners.

According to the Cape Cod Times, Clark worked at Cape restaurants where
co-workers claim he drank blood from fresh meat.

Brought from prison to the Pamet Point land on Saturday under a court order,
Clark became uncooperative and demanded police buy him women's clothing before
he pointed out his graves.

Officers made a run to K-mart for a skirt, bra, panties and stockings to get
Clark to help with the investigation, the paper said.

He rejected the skirt because it was too big but accepted the underwear.

State Police investigators were not available for comment yesterday.

A search on the land last month by Massachusetts and Maryland police found
women's jewelry, including items linked to Laura Houghteling, the 23-year-old
Bethesda woman who disappeared in October 1992. Houghteling, like Door, was
later found buried near her home in Maryland.

Investigators in Vermont have not linked Clark's claims to any specific
homicide or missing persons cases, Vermont State Police Lt. Bruce Lang said
yesterday.

``These two women were hitchhikers or runaways from Vermont,'' Lang said. ``We
don't have anything to correlate with the claims.''

Clark also was taken to Connecticut Sunday where investigators questioned him
about women who disappeared in that state during the 1980s.

Homicide investigators in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania also want to interview
Clark about unsolved killings of women in those states.

In Massachusetts, investigators showed him pictures of missing women and girls,
including a blond 9-year-old named Sarah Pryor.

Pryor disappeared in 1985 while walking near her Wayland home.

Clark did not pick her photo, the Cape Cod paper reported.

At the time of her abduction 15 years ago, the serial killer's parents lived
near Wayland, the report said.

A piece of Pryor's skull was discovered near her home four years ago and her
family held a funeral for the child in 1998.

It was unclear last night if police showed Clark a picture of Cathy Malcolmson,
16, who disappeared in Stow on Aug. 13, 1985.

Clark's current round of revealing his victim's resting places began with talks
to a fellow inmate.

The inmate told prison authorities that he could persuade Clark to speak
because the serial killer believes his friend is Jesus Christ, sources told the
Cape Cod Times.

The inmate, who is also a convicted murderer, accompanied Clark to Wellfleet
Saturday.

According to the newspaper report, Clark comes from a family of disturbed men.
His brother, Bradfield Clark, killed a woman in California and dismembered her
body. He is now serving time for second-degree murder.

Clark's criminal history dates back to 1988 when he sought revenge on a
landlord with a prank involving fishheads and stole handbags from a ladies
choir in Bethesda in 1989, the report said.

Killer quizzed on Connecticut murders

WELLFLEET, Mass., Jan. 17 - A twice-convicted murderer who led authorities on a
search for bodies on Cape Cod, and who spent part of the weekend in Connecticut
talking to state and local police, has reportedly told investigators he
tortured and ate some of his victims.

Authorities said they have not corroborated Hadden Clark’s claims of
cannibalism, which The Cape Cod Times reported Monday he had made during police
interviews in Maryland and on Cape Cod. The paper cited unidentified sources.

The paper also reported that the 47-year-old Clark spent Sunday in
Connecticut, where investigators hoped he would provide details about women
killed there sometime in the 1980s. State police officials confirmed the report
Monday, but declined to discuss with NBC 30 any details of their discussions
with the convicted killer.

Clark is serving two back-to-back 30-year sentences in Maryland for the
murders of 6-year-old Michelle Dorr, who disappeared in 1986, and 23-year-old
Laura Houghteling, who disappeared in 1992. In both cases, Clark helped police
find the victims’ remains.

6-year-old Michelle Dorr's body was found nearly two weeks ago, 14 years after
Clark killed her and buried her body in a Maryland park.

Authorities in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maryland aren’t the only
ones who have an interest in what Clarks says. Investigators from Rhode Island,
Vermont and Pennsylvania also want to talk with Clark about as many as 11 other
murders, the paper reported. All of the victims in those cases were female.

Clark said he consumed his victims because he “wanted to become the women
and girls he killed,” a law enforcement official who interviewed him told the
newspaper. He reportedly asked Massachusetts investigators to buy him women’s
clothing, and wore some of it during the search of property once owned by his
grandfather in Wellfleet.

Clark left Cape Cod Saturday after a spending the morning pointing out
potential grave sites in and around the 7.4-acre parcel of land, the paper
reported. He has drawn maps of potential burial sites on Cape Cod, according to
police.

“Clark definitely provided us with information that compels us to get back
to certain locations in Wellfleet as soon as possible,” State police Sgt. James
Plath said.

Clark told Massachusetts police that he picked up two women in Vermont in
the 1980s and buried their bodies on the Cape, the newspaper said.

Massachusetts police have been concentrating their search on a parcel of land
in Wellfleet formerly owned by Clark's grandfather.

While on Cape Cod, Clark was shown photographs of several women and
girls and asked if he knew anything about their disappearances. Included was a
picture of 9-year-old Sarah Pryor, who vanished while walking near her Wayland,
Massachusetts, home in 1985. A portion of her skull was found 2 miles away in
1995. An investigator said Clark did not select Pryor’s picture, the paper
reported.

On December 15th, Maryland and Massachusetts police searched the Wellfleet
property on South Pamet Road with a police dog. They did not find any human
remains, but did turn up a bucket containing women’s jewelry, including some
that belonged to Houghteling, the paper reported.

The Barnstable district attorney’s office wasn’t open on Monday due to the
holiday. Wellfleet police said Clark had left Wellfleet. A Montgomery County,
Maryland. police spokeswoman said she had no word on Clark’s whereabouts on
Monday.

Prosecutor skeptical about killer's claims

By Associated Press, Globe Staff, 1/18/2000

ELLFLEET - A top Barnstable County prosecutor said yesterday that he was ''very
skeptical'' about some of the claims made by a twice-convicted murderer who led
authorities on a search for bodies on Cape Cod and has reportedy told police he
tortured and ate some of his victims.

''I'm very skeptical about much of what was said'' by Hadden Clark, said
Michael O'Keefe, the first assistant district attorney. ''We've listened to a
lengthy interview of (Clark). We will evaluate and further investigate the
information that was presented to us.''

O'Keefe, however, declined to comment on the allegation of cannibalism, which
was reported in the Cape Cod Times yesterday.

Laura Houghteling, who disappeared in 1992.

In both cases, Clark helped police find the victims' remains.

Brother tells of killer's destructive ways
by Franci Richardson

Tuesday, January 18, 2000

Killer Hadden Clark, now leading investigators in a grim search on Cape Cod for
more of his victims, is doing so out of self-interest, said his older brother.

``I think for him to be thinking much beyond what's in the best interest of
Hadden probably doesn't occur to him. He's got this incredible guilt and he's
got to do something with it,'' Geoffrey Clark said.

Geoffrey Clark also said recently that a massive head injury from a beating
Hadden Clark endured in the Navy 15 years ago is what caused his ``danger
potential to become unleashed.''

``Something in this beating changed him. Probably it was a combination of the
actual beating of his head and some emotional stuff that happened afterwards,''
Geoffrey Clark said from his Silver Spring, Md., home. ``Instead of just being
carelessly dangerous, he was then somehow able to justify his acts of
violence.''

At 47, Hadden Clark is a twice-convicted murderer who has brought four
detectives to Wellfleet in search of more victims he may have buried.

One Maryland patrolman likened his glare to the chilling stare of fictional
cannibal killer Hannibal Lechter, the protagonist in the movie, ``Silence of
the Lambs.''

``He has a glare he looks at you with that just sends a chill down your
spine,'' Derek Beliles, an officer at the Montgomery County Police Department
in Rockville, Md., said last week.

In October, Hadden Clark was found guilty of murder in the 13-year-old case of
6-year-old Michele Dorr. He was already serving 30 years for the murder of a
23-year-old Harvard student who disappeared from her mother's Bethesda, Md.,
home in 1992.

Originally from New Jersey, the Clark family - replete with a troubled history
- moved to various parts of the country.

His older brother, Bradfield Clark, strangled a co-worker he had invited to his
San Francisco apartment for dinner, dismembered her body with a kitchen knife
and stored the pieces in garbage bags in his car.

Hadden Clark went into the Navy in the 1980s. He had always been a little
destructive, said Geoffrey Clark, who today sports many scars from injuries his
brother inflicted on him.

When the two were young, they were riding bikes and Hadden Clark crashed his
into Geoffrey's, leaving the brother unconscious and bleeding. Hadden Clark
went home to assure his mother, ``Don't worry, the bike's OK,'' Geoffrey Clark
remembered.

When he was discharged from the Navy, after being diagnosed as a paranoid
schizophrenic, Geoffrey Clark became nervous.

``When he came back from the Navy, he was so different I had him move out
because I was afraid of him,'' Geoffrey Clark said.

A short time after Hadden Clark was questioned in connection with the Dorr
murder, Hadden Clark Sr. killed himself at his daughter's Rhode Island home.

When Hadden Clark stood trial in the Dorr murder, he would often rock back and
forth in his chair. During interviews with detectives before the trial, Clark
reportedly broke into song, praising Jesus Christ.

Cold Weather on Cape Cod Halts Quest for Bodies
Child Killer Says Granddad's Place Was Burial Ground

Jan. 17, 2000

By Amy Worden

WELLFLEET, Mass. (APBnews.com) -- Snow and single-digit temperatures have
temporarily halted the search for more victims of a man convicted in two
Maryland murders who has told police he killed other people in other states.

Hadden Clark, 47, is serving 70 years for the murders of 6-year-old Michele
Dorr and 23-year-old Laura Houghteling. He was brought to Cape Cod last week
after telling investigators he had buried other victims on property belonging
to his grandfather.

In both, cases Clark led police to the remains of his victims -- both buried
near their homes in suburban Washington. Police found Dorr's body last week in
a shallow grave in a Silver Spring, Md., park, where it was buried after her
disappearance in 1986.

Clark reportedly told investigators he buried some of his victims here on
bucolic Cape Cod, even drawing maps of the alleged grave sites.

But back-to-back snowstorms have hampered the current search of the 7-acre
property adjacent to a national park. Police have been returning periodically
since Clark's arrest seven years ago.

"Nothing is going on in Wellfleet today," said Police Chief Richard Rosenthal.

With temperatures in the single digits and several inches of snow on the
ground, he does not expect the search to resume in the near future.

"They're using cadaver recovery dogs, and the odor of flesh in cold weather is
hard to detect. It's also hard to dig in freezing ground," said Rosenthal.

Two rings found in December

A search Dec. 15 turned up no human remains, but investigators found a bucket
containing two rings belonging to Houghteling, according to law enforcement
sources.

Meanwhile, Connecticut State Police spent about five hours with Clark on Sunday
in an unsuccessful effort to a find a woman he said he had buried there more
than two decades ago.

"The information he offered us was not fruitful or relevant to any crime," said
Lt. Ralph Carpenter of the Connecticut State Police. Clark had told police he
killed a woman in Connecticut in the late 1970s and buried her there.

Investigators brought him to the area -- which they would not reveal -- Sunday
and questioned him extensively, but found nothing, police said.

"We were prepared to dig," said Carpenter. "Nothing turned up related to any
specific unsolved crimes. As of now, we haven't linked him to any case here."

A transient serial killer

Federal, state and local police are trying to separate fact from fiction -- a
process they say could take a long time.

"We're dealing with a serial killer here. We don't know how many people he
killed," said Rosenthal. "The fact is, he was a transient and moved around. How
much is truth and how much of it's not? He was a very active guy for quite a
long period of time. They have to see exactly what he's been up to."

Rosenthal said he did not know where Clark was taken after being questioned in
Connecticut, but confirmed he was not brought back to Cape Cod or
Massachusetts. Neither Maryland investigators nor the Massachusetts State
Police could be reached for comment today.
