Over in Missouri, police have uncovered a child porn videotape ring that may
have been operating for the past 25 years. 57 year old Doug Yergovich is the
name of our Prolific Pornographer. He owned a motorcycle shop, but indulged in
videotaping young girls, aged 11-14, in pornographic video recordings. I guess
he does qualify as a child pornographer, even though at age 13 & 14, his
victims are more adolescents, than children. He should be called an adolescent
pornographer, I think.
Doug used the bribes of alcohol, drugs, AND the promise that he would do his
best to help launch a career as a motorcycle calender and magazine model, for
the young girls, if they submitted to being recorded on video engaging in
pornographic activities. And a lot of them agreed. Why not? Your pathetic
society engages in a ridiculous set of hypocritical mind games with regard to
the lessons it teaches and demonstrates to children about the entire issue of
sex, body image, beauty, etc... It's no wonder than MANY 13 & 14 year old girls
would be very willing, and even feel pride, that anyone would want to view and
record on video their naked bodies. Once he had them recorded on tape, Doug
used his societally granted stature as an older man to threaten and intimidate
the girls into not revealing what had happened to them, to anybody. Never
forget that YOUR society teaches children that they are subhuman slaves, and
must obey and give in to the demands of ALL adults, not just their parental
slaveowners. By parents imposing their will upon children, the children are
taught, by EXAMPLE, that they must submit to ALL adults, even if the parent
TRIES to tell the slave "don't talk to strangers", etc....
57 year old Doug has himself a 41 year old girlfriend, or at least business
partner, and she helped him to lure and convince the young girls to pose for
the porn videos. Doug sure has had a long and successful career as a child
pornographer. He was only arrested after a young girl told her Mommy what had
happened to her, and the Mommy then remembered that she HERSELF had been forced
to make similar porn videos 25 years ago, by Doug. Like mother, like daughter.
Doug sure did seem to have a knack for luring young girls to him, and then
getting them to keep quiet afterwards about the videos. But here again, Doug
owes his success to your society, a society in which girls and women are STILL
taught, vis societal attitudes, that they are inferior to men and must play the
role of a submissive, within the cultural framework that they were and are born
into.
Right now, Doug is charged with 5 counts of child abuse, but police are
receiving dozens of phone calls from gals claiming to have been victimized by
Doug. In addition to the porn videos, Doug also fondled and groped some of the
girls, but it's unclear whether he engaged in actual sex acts with them. Pattie
Mays, his 41 year old lover, is also charged with 5 counts of child abuse. She
was paid cold, hard, cash by Doug, for luring and convincing girls to enter his
motocycle den of iniquity. They have both entered Not Guilty pleas to all the
charges.
We also learn below that Doug's motorcycle shop is located RIGHT NEXT to the
Avondale police station. Cool! He ran this child porn ring right under the very
noses of this town's police headquarters building, for 25+ long years, without
ever even arousing any suspicion. Inside of the motocycle shop, after police
arrested Doug and searched it, they found FOUR Avondale police radios.
Interesting! This suggests to me that Doug had probably befriended a few of the
cops, and after awhile, he decided they were trustworthy enough for him to
share his child porn activities with them, without fear of them betraying him.
After all, MOST men are highly turned on by young girls, aged 13 and higher.
Your society teaches them that young, fresh, virgin humans, are the most sexy
and desirable of all.
It's unclear whether Doug and Pattie have been offered bail, but most likely
they will be, since these types of serial crimes against children are always
treated with more leniency than if they had involved a serial sex
assaulter/rapist of actual adult women. Doug might very well get a big break
with regard to his 20+ year old porn video activities. The good old statute of
limitations just might prevent authorities from charging Doug in those pre-1978
incidents. IMO, the statute of limitations is a very good thing, and it SHOULD
apply to ALL crimes, including murder. It makes no sense for it apply to some
crimes, and not others.
Take care, JOE

Police have busted a child pornography ring that may have been operating out of
a Northland motorcycle shop for 25 years. Officials say the calls began last
week after 57-year-old Doug Yergovich (YERR-go-vitch), the owner of a
motorcycle shop in the town of Avondale, just north of Kansas City, and
41-year-old Pattie Mays were each charged with five counts of child abuse.
Officials say the couple used drugs, alcohol and the promise of future modeling
careers to lure 13- and 14-year-old girls to make pornographic videotapes, then
used threats and intimidation to keep the girls silent. The investigation began
when the mother of one victim telephoned authorities. The mother said she too
had been victimized at the same location 25 years ago.

Clay County sheriff says fear probably allowed an alleged child pornography
ring to operate
By BENITA Y. WILLIAMS - Staff Writer

Fear is probably what allowed an alleged child pornography ring to operate out
of a Northland motorcycle shop for possibly as long as 25 years, Clay County
Sheriff Bob Boydston said Monday.
"Threats from the criminal element in the biker community are real," Boydston
said. "If you're a 13- or 14-year-old girl, you're not going to go to your
parents and say, `Hey, I ran away for a couple of days, and here are a few
pictures I made.' "
Boydston said it was "the mystique of bikers" that lured many of the alleged
victims to Doug's Choppers, 3009 Missouri 10, in Avondale, a town of about 500.
The girls said they received drugs and alcohol and were told that the
pornographic photographs being made would help them become models for
motorcycle calendars and magazines, Boydston said. They said they later feared
what would happen to them if they told.
The Sheriff's Department has received dozens of calls about the case since the
shop's owner, Doug Yergovich, 57, was charged Thursday with five counts of
child abuse. He is accused of making pornographic videotapes of three girls now
11 and 13 years of age. He also was charged with child molestation and
statutory sodomy for allegedly fondling the girls.
Pattie Mays, 41, also was charged with five counts of child abuse. She
allegedly received money to take girls to Yergovich to be filmed.
Both Yergovich and Mays pleaded not guilty.
The investigation was begun after Boydston's office received a call from a
woman in Avondale who said she was the mother of a victim.
"The mother says she was victimized at the same location about 25 years ago,"
Boydston said.
The mother told police she was too scared to say anything when it happened to
her but decided to call after her daughter said she was involved.
Boydston said there were several calls made from women who said they had been
photographed years ago, as well as parents who said their daughters had been
photographed more recently.
The Clay County prosecutor's office will decide whether the statute of
limitations will prevent criminal charges from being filed in the older cases.
"I personally feel most of these girls were disenfranchised from their families
and possibly a little rebellious at the time," Boydston said. "They were made
to feel comfortable and taken into a person's care and later found pornographic
material was being made."
Officers are still investigating what was being done with the pictures and
tapes after they were made.
On Monday, Boydston assigned extra patrol cars to Avondale and assigned
additional detectives to the pornography investigation after a parent said
she was threatened.
Rumors of pornography in Avondale have circulated for years, Boydston said. But
Boydston said there was no evidence of reports being filed with the Avondale
Police Department, which was next door to Doug's Choppers.
The Avondale Board of Aldermen last month fired the town's entire Police
Department. Board meeting minutes said Mayor Robert Callicott was tired of
receiving complaints about the police.
Alderman Chuck Brumbaugh said last week that the complaints were about
excessive traffic tickets and the police allowing children and dogs to run
wild, not about Yergovich.
Since the firings, Clay County deputies and North Kansas City police officers
have patrolled Avondale.
When officers served the search warrant Friday, they found four hand-held
police radios with serial numbers that matched Avondale Police Department
radios, Boydston said.
"I think its interesting that four Avondale police radios were found in the
shop," Boydston said. "But they could have gotten those at an equipment surplus
sale. I don't know."
Former Police Chief Tom Ehrhardt Jr. said he was unaware that Yergovich had any
police radios and that no Avondale police radios were reported missing in the
nine months he was with the department.
