The site is closed due to anticipated traffic over the next few
days. Is the anticipated traffic due to your posting of his
arrest?
Ron
I'm amazed by the lack of response to GMS's post. All those years, and
all those people, wanting to know all about Joe. Here's his name and
(current) address, and hardly anybody seems to have noticed.
I hope you will write to him, LS.
Martha
All of those who thought the entire Joe thing was a joke have
fled this newsgroup...perhaps someone should forward Sarah's
message to alt.crime. Does anyone know on what charges Joe was
arrested and has this arrest been confirmed?
Ron

Looks like the joke is on them.

Maybe because GMS posted it to another newsgroup on 17 Oct?

I'll leave it to the Joe Scholars around here to see if this squares
with what we know about Joe.

Looks like he had some fake IDs.
Either that or nobody believes it anyway, having been yanked around so
much before.
Joe never wanted to be identified before -- why is he agreeing to it
now?
It's not closed, we had to close the public area but if you click on "We are"
upper left, just below the picture, you will come to the Joe1Orbit items. More
are in process.
And yes, we have had scores of hits already.
I'll do that. I'm sure he would be pleased if you dropped him a note.
Check out the Broward County Sheriff's office website and you
will find that a 35 year old white male, Joseph Weintraub was
arrested on 11 counts of fake identification on September 12th.
If Grandma says this is our Joe, I will believe her and assume
that these people are one and the same. Just one
question...what legitimate purpose would be served by having 10
fake ID cards and 1 fake driver's license?

I hope you write too LS.

Write to him and ask Ron. I'm serious.

I imagine that the best way to get answers to your questions would be to ask

If this, indeed, is Joe.
And if you follow the link to the court documents:
It lists 10 counts ... all of fake drivers license ID.
I note that bail was set at $1,000 on eight of the accounts and zero
dollars on the other two. I think the real Joe would have easily made
bail.
Even if it comes to a total of $8,000 --- how come he's still
languishing in the can ... couldn't he pawn his gun collection or
something? I thought he could buy and sell all those folk with whom he
problems.
So when he started posting here in 1997, he was thirty years old? I
thought he was considerably older.
Love that pic.
Kind of explains something.
That's if it is Joe. I'm doubtful.
Oh yes ... fake driver's licenses are a major tool in cheque and credit
card frauds.
Has anybody sent this guy money?

Just kidding,... Gotta love Old Joe.
It does not matter if you fall, but rather, if you get back up again.
Just, please, don't include the words "hotmail" in your (envelope's) return
address. Or, he might not read it.
JUST KIDDING FOLKS!

It's truly a mystery to me and a bit amusing, why everyone is asking questions
here when they could ask joe directly. If you dont believe it is Joe, my or
anybody else's answers to the questions would be useless wouldnt they?

Joe Weintraub and assures the "doubters" on my mailing list that

At the bottom of that page. Click to court site.
At the bottom of next page click Accept.
Click Public Access Search.
Next Page: Enter: Weintraub, Joseph -- click Search by Party.
Click radio button on Weintraub - Joseph - 4/9/67 - FELONY
Click: View Selected Search Summary.
You get a list of charges -- all driving licenses.
I'd trust this listing more than the cop sheets.
If this is Joe, my questions about why he has not made bail stand in
light of the persona he presented here.
- hm
I have, despite his request that I not do so.
If you want to know what happened to Joe and his money, you should write
to him and ask him. This *is* Joe.
Martha
Joe did not "go out of his way to insult anyone and everyone." As you
yourself know from your own experience, he responded politely to anyone
who approached him civilly.
There are any number of people here with whom I would and do correspond
off the newsgroup. They are called my friends, and Joe is among them.
Martha
You gms and barbara are sure begging people to write him..sounds like
a pyramid scam to me :)
I can't imagine anyone wanting to write to him. Plus he bragged about
all his money..he should be sending out postage free envelopes to his
fan club to pass around. I went to google to read about this full
force frank and I saw a post where he wished some lady and her grand
kids got aids...yea..he was a real sweet heart and everyone should
want to correspond with such a person
nicki
I have never communicated with Joe so have no reason to do so now.
He's facing ten felony charges, none of which sounds serious so if this
indeed is Joe I hope he beats them.
If he's in jail, I still find it strange that he has not made bail ...
and I'm always skeptical of any explanation from accused felons about
"what happened to all the money I had."
- hm
I have suggested people who have a question, or who wonder why Joe, who
always said he had lots of money, is in jail when he apparently could be
out on bail, write to him and ask him. I happen to know the answers to
their questions because I did ask him myself, and I don't think it's my
place to post his business here. Anyone who wants to write him can
write him. I didn't know anyone was forcing you to write to him.

Well, if you want to know you can ask him. If you don't want to ask
him, I assume you don't want to know.
Martha
I havent seen any one beg anyone else to write to Joe.
what I have done and what Martha just did is to tell you that communications
between a friend, Joe and his friends, us, is just that, a private
communication, not a secret.
If he says he is willing to tell you himself why ask us?
You know you'll just say it's some kind of hoax .
Pyramid scheme?
Are you insane?

No one is telling anyone to write if they arent interested in doing it nicki.
GMS has provided an address for those who might want to. If she didnt people
would be screaming that she was hiding it.
It was kind of silly to announce to us that you dont want to write, just dont
do it.

So don't write him. It's real simple. Just like the newsgroup here. Don't
like it, don't read it. Don't like Joe, don't write Joe. Very simple
concept which you appear to be unable to grasp.

You all are saying over and over..
"why don't you write him.
Write him and find out..I know the answers.....you write him yourself
and find out. I happen to know all the answers..but you write him
yourself..here is his address...here write him your self.." and on and
on and on......
If you did send him $$ you are stupider than you look :)
You or he have some kind of scam going and I hope it bites you in the
rear...
I don't stir shi* but I sure scoop a lot of it out of The Boy's litter
box
I personally do not feel comfortable discussing Joe's financial
circumstances. I'm sure there are a lot of questions people would like to
ask about Joe. The best way to get an answer is from Joe himself. We'll
know more in the beginning of November about the charges against him.
Michael
there is more than one Joseph Weintraub Howard. I think you're on the wrong
page. One of them is dealing with a foreclosure, auto negligence etc and one of
them is as a witness. Joe doesnt have a car and that's not what he's been
charged with as far as he knows.
I imagine although I'm not sure that I'm right , that they have to present the
charges to the suspect before an arraignment.
>If this is Joe, my questions about why he has not made bail stand in

and my answer and Martha's answer to you on that one remains the same:)

How about phoning Mr. Weintraub? Does the jail allow that? And if it
does, is Mr. Weintrub accepting calls?
I'm just going along with some game being played.
We only know about Weintraub because someone wants us to know.
Why would that be?

listen..I can post that I don't want to write him if I want to...Your

It is my understanding Joe is only allowed specific times to call out. I

You can spin all you like but on the penultimate page, there is only
one Weintraub - Joseph with the 1967 birthdate and and that produces 10
felony charges to do with false driving licenses.
- hm
Is there some kind of special plant that you have to eat to get this dumb?
I guess a simple question and a simple answer is too much for a simple brain.

Most jails only allow detainees to call out collect. And they cant receive
calls and the prison employees cannot transmit a message to him.
I dont know how much free time you have but I imagine that if you write and
tell him you'd like to speak to him in person he'd be glad to.

I haven't been to the site in a few weeks. Last time I looked he was
charged with (I *think*) carrying 10 fake IDs and 1 fake drivers license.
Michael
barbara in my estimation..you are the one lacking in brain cells.
I hope j1o writes to you every day. I remember when he insulted you

10 charges having to do with a fake ID, and one having to do with a
drivers license in particular. The other 10 could be anything.

I'm not trying to spin anything Howard. The charges that Joe is in for are
detailed on the first page and I dont see anything about a driver's license.
On the second page, the one you are looking at, in the upper right of the page
for each button you click on is a descrition such as Auto negligece, a
foreclosure, a witness for a traffic infraction, Failure to use something ( I
cant make it out).
Where do you see driver's license except on the first page for one of the
charges.
Im not trying to pull anything over on you Howard, you asked a question and I
gave you an answer to the best of my ablility.

huh? are you reading what you post? duh!!
I would be embarrassed to say that I wrote a letter to that fraud but
my standards have always been higher than yours
That is on the sheriff's department page Michael.
And if you note all the charges have the same offense number.
You must go to the court web site (see instructions above).
The felony charges listed there all say driver's license.
Perhaps they all have to do with a single false license ... perhaps not.
Given that Mr. Weintraub has been held so long and not been released on
his own recognizance or a bail he can make, I'd suspect there is more
than one piece of paper involved.
And anyone who has ever read cop sheets will trust the authenticity of
a court sheet over anything the cops put down on paper. Similitude ...
sounds like New-Age cop-ese for counterfeit to me. I'd think blanks.
Similitude does sound nicer, though.

What a mature post..but typical of your style...
On the left of Mr. Weintraub's name on that page is a small radio
button.
Click on that (make it black).
Then click on View Selected Summary (below)
You get another page. All the charges listed say Drivers License.

Sorry Nicki You are wrong. No money is allowed to be sent to any jail nor
prison. A money order is allowed to go to a detainee, which goes into a
jail account, which is only for buying sundries at the jail boutique.
I think many people will write Joe and I am sure YOU won't

You'd be correct about that word:
Main Entry: si·mil·i·tude
Pronunciation: s&-'mi-l&-"tüd, -"tyüd
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, resemblance, likeness, from
Latin similitudo, from similis
Date: 14th century
1 a : COUNTERPART, DOUBLE b : a visible likeness : IMAGE
2 : an imaginative comparison : SIMILE
3 a : correspondence in kind or quality b : a point of comparison
synonym see LIKENESS
I'm thinking it is the "visible likeness" that is the way the word is being
used on those charges. That's vague enough to be useful to the DA. :)

Not so sure those aren't serious charges. I believe each count carries a
possible 5 year sentence.
False ID is kinda serious, especially in quantity, such as this. False
DL's, especially the way things are now in the States, won't be treated
quite as lightly as they once may have been. A false DL can be used to
obtain other types of identification, which may provide access to secure
areas, for example. Or could be used to register for things like flying
lessons... I don't think you can understate the level of concern there is
in some places WRT false identity issues.

My take on this: the things that were posted in the past weren't
necessarily the whole truth.
The person on that web page is who Sarah, Martha, Barb and Michael say he
is, of that I am certain.
For what value that may be to you, of course. :)

I did that Howard and I see nothing that says Drivers license, which column are
you talking about and what do you think the Auto Negilgence, Foreclosure are
all about. Unless my computer is pulling up different pages than yours is when
I click on the radio buttons I get just what I described.
Do you see "drivers license" spelled out or do you just see an abbeviation and
in which column.
I have no problem not putting stock in the cop pages but I've looked at the
court pages before now and i dont see what you do.
I'm not *that* computer illiterate:)

My goodness.
Someone else who knows the value of a Webster's Collegiate.
The best U.S. English dic around for popular use, I think.
Okay in Canada, too, if you remember to put the U back in; and if
you're a traditionalist to insert a "c" in shtick and change Hanukkah

It's the word the Florida statute uses.
Here it is.
http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?
App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0322/SEC212.HTM&Title=->
2002->Ch0322->Section%20212
Guess I should have deleted that "then".
I could post the url but it's one of those eight-line things and going
into a couple of encrupted pages so I don;t know how that it would
work.
Work your way through to that page with all the Weintraubs on it.
At the left of the pertinent Weintraub is a button. (It looks like it's
in paranthesis.)
Highlight that.
Then go to the bottom of the list and click View Selected Summary.
The next page lists Weintraub, the judge, the court date, the charges.
You will note that to the left of each count is another button.
You can click that for more info but you have to pay a fee.
But by pressing that you can learn how to pay the fee if you want.
I don't think there would be a lot of pertinent stuff there right now.

Yes..I saw it. He spent a few years lying to the newsgroup and now he

reams of his posts..and they all feel sorry for him.

Ok, I went to the page you are talking about, I think you left that step out of
your previous directions :P
And yes I see all the charges and the only thing I can figure out is that when
it says Drivers License/ID they are using an all inclusive term for drivers
licenses and other ID's or that it might be a mistake or that I am wrong :)
I never asked him what all the charges were, I just went by the cops report
that you say isnt accurate.
No big thing.
Ill ask him the next time I write although I know for sure that one of them at
the very least was *not* a driver's license. Maybe it's among the 3 that were
dropped.
Thanks for your patience.

Mrs. Barbara Full Force Frank
I think you're right , it might be serious indeed. I cant imagine that they

I don't intend to get into the big arguement, LS. Joe asked me to post it, I
posted it here and in Alt.zines where FFF is well known, in several Yahoo
groups. It is Joe1Orbit, I would suggest that people write him and ask him
whatever. Why he decided to "come out", I have no idea except there is a
possible book in the making. He said, "No more secrets", so I would think that
he is open for questions.
Why would anyone think that some guy in jail in Broward County, Florida would
be imitating Joe1Orbit?
Check out his manifesto, which is linked by www.claque.net and see if it sounds
like Joe to you. Or you can go directly there at
Joe is about to be swamped with mail by the looks of my email, where people
have contacted me, and by old fans of FFF that Joe asked me to notify, be sure
to send yours. Prisoners seem to be the only ones that write real letters
anymore, gives them something to do, I guess.
He will be very pleased to hear from you, LS.
At a hundred hits plus per day, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there is some
delay in getting there. Just keep trying.
Full Force Frank was a name he used when publishing his zines back in the early
90s. Joe has never, never posted to usenet as FFF, so there are no posts in
Google for that name.
Jason doesn't want to apologize to 10 people that he accused of being Joe, all
with irrefutable proof, even claiming the FBI told him it was Michael Newton.

Florida Drivers Licenses come in two parts -- the license itself and a
separate ID card.
So it would appear that all these charges have to do with licenses
and/or ID cards.
And this from a precis of a Fort Lauderdale Sun-Times story of
September 25 on the arrest of seven people:
"The task force became aware of the identity theft ring after comparing
notes on a string of robberies at driver license offices in Miami and
reports of identity theft involving car dealership customers. The
stolen equipment was used to make fake Florida driver licenses and
identification cards, investigators said."
I don't know, of course, if the charges we are discussing have any
connection to this affair -- there is a longer story in the paper's
archives for anyone who wants to register to get a password and pay the
$2.50 fee.

I'd say the joke was on everybody.

Joe said he did not do anything illegal.
He said he was rich, but can't raise bail. Maybe that's why he needs
Sarah Monroe posting pleas for communication on usenet. In fact, for
someone who needed no one Joe's pretty needy right now, isn't he?
Maybe he needs some stamps. He couldn't possibly need friends.
So much for Joe's sacred vows. FFF was a drug abuser. Joe denied ever
taking drugs or drinking.
Joe said he was a virgin. FFF isn't.
So much for being the Seer of Forbidden Truths. Jesus - the guy
wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the ass.
If you checked the link do you think Joe Weintraub looks like a guy
who could make someone shit themselves from fear? lol! What a joke.
Why was this even posted? All it does is show him for the liar he is.
His plea, though Sarah Monroe, makes him pathetic.
But, we did learn something of value: Joe isn't the undetectable
serial ID user...lol!
I hope the gang is enjoying seeing their boy splashed on usenet
groups, begging for correspondence, looking like the pathetic lyin'
loser he is. Jesus. Too funny!
No wonder Martha likes the guy so much, pathologies out. Kindred
souls. lol! Then we have Barbara signing off as Mrs. FFF, as if it's a
badge of honor, or something. Jesus.
