Does anyone remember?

 Does anyone remember anything about a murder of a Byer High school student named Genna Lyn Gamble in Oct. 1995? From what I can gather from reliable sources her step-father, Douglas Mouser, is now being tried for the murder partially based on a new type of forensic tests involving matching patterns of carpet or other types of pattern impressions left on skin of victim to say, in this instance anyway, the carpet in the trunk of the stepfathers car. He was not considered a suspect it seems until the alibi of his being at work the day Genna disappeared was eventually disproved. The district attorneys office has reason to believe that he was at home and caught Genna who was supposedly grounded (phone privileges cut) on the phone with a friend. Somehow it is known that during this conversation the phone went dead and the friend either couldn't call back or didn't because she knew Genna was grounded and didn't want to get her into trouble. The trouble is Genna disappeared, mom and step dad file report with police saying they believe her to have run away. Some time later they find her body in a field somewhere there was a 1/4" to 1/2" ligature mark around her neck. She was not sexually assaulted. The body also had distinct pattern impressions in the skin of legs they believe this to be from the carpet in the step-fathers trunk. This happened in or around Modesto Ca.
If anyone has any info on this or remembers the case please post.

I went to the website and read every article on the crime. Seems like
pretty skimpy evidence, actually but I'll be anxious to hear what the
outcome of the trial is. Anybody who hears when the trial takes place
would you please post that info here? Thanks.

Mouser was Guilty as charged. He should never be released from prison. I think Genna mother should be in there also.

I'm not sure about it either. I just watched the forensic's files and it seems kinda sketchy. Not a lot of real evidence...
