My wife recently finished Ann Rule's "If You Really Loved Me," and she had
a couple "afterward" questions, which she asked me to post on
alt.true-crime.
Where is Cinnamon Brown today and what is she doing?
And, where is David Brown and what is he doing today?
Thank you in advance.

Per Ann Rule's newsletter of Winter 1999:
"Cinnamon Brown was released almost 7 years ago. Jay Newell - the
detective who both helped convict her and worked to win her parole -
and his family were on hand to help Cinnamon readjust to a free world.
She got a job and learned to drive. Today, she is happily married and
has a two-year-old son. Cinnamon has an excellent job with a national
company where she is highly regarded.
"Patty Bailey was released a year after Cinnamon. Life has been harder
for her, and her past haunted her. However, Patti is doing well today;
she has regained custody of her baby girl, and bore twin sons. She is
married to a man with children of his own and their families have
blended smoothly.
"David Brown, who played the game of life and death with other people,
is still behind bars at the New Folsom prison in Northern California.
Neither Cinnamon nor Patti want anything to do with him, but David has
found romance through the mail and he exchanges steamy letters wih a
woman who wrote to him."
