For the record, she looks a lot more like Kris's guess about her than mine.

Dr. Lisa Ainsworth speaks from the heart

"I love Earnest Lee and I will always love Earnest Lee."

With tears in her eyes and her emotions visible on her face, Dr. Lisa Ainsworth
talked about her husband Earnest Lee Hargon at her veterinary clinic near
Taylorsville Tuesday morning. Petting and hugging the dogs and cats that
wondered freely around her office, Dr. Lisa said that the Earnest Lee she knew
was not the person who was capable of doing such a horrible thing.

Earnest Lee is charged with three counts of capital murder in connection with
the deaths of his cousin, Michael Hargon and his family.

"Earnest Lee had some problems. He got on drugs when he started his trucking
business. But I am not saying it was the drugs. He was a good person. He loved
people, but apparently he had problems.

"There has been so much talk about his daddy's will, but the will was never a
problem for him. He knew that the will had been changed and that didn't make
any difference. He never wanted for anything. We are not rich by any means, but
we work hard, we pay our bills. It wasn't about the money. There was so much
money owed on the land that when everything is said and done, there won't be
any thing left. Earnest never expected anything from his father. The will never
bothered him one way or another. We had our hands full with what we have here.
He left Canton 15 years ago and hasn't been back for about three years since he
and his father had a falling out.

Dr. Lisa described the man she married as a person who would go out of his way
to avoid confrontation. He stayed to himself, he worked on motorcycles, cleared
land, didn't like to go out to eat. He did not like being in the spotlight.
People who know Earnest Lee would do anything in the world for him."

She said he didn't help her in clinic because "you can't have two people doing
the same work. Both of us wanted to be the boss. He wanted to do it his way and
I wanted to do it my way, but if I ever needed anything or any help with the
animals, he was right there.

Most people in Taylorsville don't seem to blame Dr. Lisa or hold her
responsible for anything, but she says she feels so bad that the bodies were on
the Moran's land and 'that they were brought into this.'

"I don't know why they were put there. I don't know why the bodies were brought
back here. With drugs a person is not thinking clearly."

"Michael and Rebecca's families are in our thoughts and prayers. We love them.
If we could take back that split second in time when things just got out of
hand up there, I would."

Lisa was not at home that Friday night when the authorities arrested Earnest
Lee and took control of her property. But she says the personnel who conducted
the investigation were the 'sweetest people, the most dedicated people, who
were trying to get to the bottom of this and have closure for Michael's family.
And as far as she knows, they have been understanding and good to Earnest Lee.

"The Smith County Sheriff's Department has been good to my family and me from
the very beginning of the investigations. They have been very supportive and
very understanding."

Dr. Lisa has not been allowed to talk to her husband since his arrest on Friday
night. She understands the reasons for this, but is at such a loss not knowing
what Earnest needs or wants her to do.

"I just don't know what to do," she said, "but I do know that God is going to
heal all of us, because He is all over it."

Nice looking woman. Sometimes, among my friends, I wonder why certain people
ended up together. I wonder about these two, also. Sad for her, too.
