Thanks for the additional information! By the way, where are you getting
your information from -- what is your source??? I'm looking all over the
place, scanning every wire service in the country, just about, and I find
nothing! A.P. has nothing! Clue me in -- please?

DO keep us posted on ANY progress in this case!!!

New names arise in death of boy
Leads this week broaden investigation

By JULIE BIRD HEATHER HOWARD
Staff Writers
ALBEMARLE -- Investigators may be looking at additional suspects in the
death of 12-year-old Billy Huddleston.

District Attorney Kenneth Honeycutt said a search warrant issued Tuesday for
the home of Bobby Richard Taylor, 30, the Oakboro man charged with
first-degree murder in the boy's death, "names some people who may or may
not become suspects."

Stanly County sheriff's investigators asked for the search warrant after
following new leads Monday, Honeycutt said. They also asked prosecutors to
request that the warrant, the supporting affidavit and information about
evidence seized during the search be withheld from the public.

Superior Court Judge Larry Ford approved the request to seal the records
Tuesday. He cited "publicity, rumors and speculation in the community" in
making his order.

Honeycutt said investigators didn't want to impugn the names of the people
listed on the search warrant if it turned out they had nothing to do with
Billy's death.

The search warrant had not been served as of early Wednesday evening,
Honeycutt said. Stanly County sheriff's investigators could not be reached
for comment late Wednesday.

Billy's family reported him missing July 25.

His body was found three days later in a cornfield next to Love Mill Road
just across the Union County line.

Taylor was arrested Friday morning at the Stanly County Sheriff's Office in
Albemarle after investigators questioned him for several hours. Taylor lives
in the home where Billy's green freestyle bike was found.

Stanly County Sheriff Tony Frick said Taylor had told police Billy asked him
if he could leave it in his yard before the boy climbed into a car the night
he disappeared.

Residents said Taylor helped with the search for the boy, including handing
out fliers.

Court records show that at the time of Bobby Richard Taylor Jr.'s arrest
Friday, there was an active warrant charging him with failure to appear in a
Virginia court in March 1996. Taylor had been scheduled to face the three
charges filed in 1995, Virginia court records show. He is wanted on charges
of assault, abduction and sodomy in Virginia.

Honeycutt said investigators did not immediately learn of the outstanding
charges in Virginia because Taylor initially gave police an alias.

"We're still not sure he's Bobby Taylor," he said, and won't until the FBI
completes a computerized fingerprint check. Billy Taylor

I was STUNNED OVER THE FACT, when the Bike was found outside of that monsters house, that the police Had not searched his home at that moment, I hope their law enforcement learned a lesson in detective action, they probably would have saved the child’s life if either the cops or someone had searched that EVIL SICK MONSTERS HOME. I can tell you, as a mom I would have walked straight in that house, invited or not and happily I would have caught a B& E charge especially the fact that beautiful little boy may have been saved and would still have his Mommy & family with him. I know that innocent little boy is now an angel in heaven free of any pain or sadness but my heart breaks for his mom. I hope that sick child molesting Murderer is suffering severe pain every minute of every day in prison, which is cake walk for the torture he absolutely will suffer for all eternity in hell. I absolutely DO NOT BELIEVE THAT GOD FORGIVES THE KIND OF EVIL THAT HURTS HIS BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN. IF BLASEMY IS UNFORGIVABLE THAT KILLING, MOLESTING, TORTURE TO A CHILD DEFINITELY IS UNFORGIVABLE
