Two Taft California Hell's Angels Arrested

Two Taft men were arrested following an incident at the Hell's Angels clubhouse in Bakersfield.
Bakersfield Police Department Sgt. Joe Grubbs said PD officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the clubhouse on East 19th St.
Details of exactly what happened weren't immediately available, but apparently there was an assault and the weapon was a hammer, Grubbs said.
Jonathon Cole Smith, 40 of Taft, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, battery, vandalism, and participation in a street gang.
Casey Wootten, 39, also of Taft, was arrested on drug and weapons charges as well as participation in a street gang.
Smith was being held on $170,243.00 bail and Wootten was freed Wednesday, according to Kern County Jail records.
