I am curious who makes the air filters for the bigger trucks (Peterbuilt,
Mercedes, Volvo, Ford etc)? I am doing a bit of research on air filters and
have not found the manufacturers like I can for just about any thing else -
your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance -

The big trucks still use oil bath air filters for extreme conditions.

I've never seen an oil bath on a big truck or any other engine since the mid
sixties. Show me a picture of an oil bath air cleaner on a big rig.`

I was thinking I would have to wait til my girlfriend got home for
that answer. :) She's driving an intertrashional right now and the
air cleaner started with and F was all I could remember. :) The one
she's driving now has a Cat engine if they had orderd a different
engine would it have been a different brand of air cleaner too?

I call what she does "the getting suckered into driving a truck for
big bucks" -scam. :)

As far as a way of life, and it suits you, great! :)
As far a job for money... it sucks donkey dicks. :/

She's seriously looking for another job.

I keep telling her to try construction type truck driving.
What do you know about that field?

She's most likely making twice as much as she could on a local
construction truck driving job. The usual pay, in my area anyway,
is $7.50 to $12.50 per hour.

I was averaging over $20 an hour when I quit driving trucks over the
road in 1993.
