If you want it, buy it. Might want to test-drive it, though,
maneuvering with such can get interesting in parking lots.

I have a F350 Crew. Just spent a month camping in it with two small
children (3 and 1), it's the greatest investment I have done. Wouldn't
trade it for the world

I think Canada is a very poor choice. OTOH, the 350 is one of the best
choices you can make.

I have an F350 SD, but not the crew cab. If you don't need to tow
any significant weight you might consider the F150 SuperCrew. I
love my F350 but we tow a fifthwheel weighing 11,100 lbs. If you
don't need to do that, the SuperCrew would be an option for you.

ANDREW
I JUST BOUGHT THE F 250 2000 crew cab , and I am happy. I bought it over the
internet using , CANADATRADER.COM

The biggest reason I purchased the F250 is because I fit in it . the F 150
,chev's , and dodges gave me a closterfobic feeling. The F250 has a larger
front window , and wider head room, this means your not staring at the
windshield post. This is very important when you are over 6' tall.

Historically, the F series cabs were all the same from 150 to 450. What
year did this change?

In 1998 when Ford went to the Light Duty (F-150) Heavy Duty (F-250 and up)
body styles.

Nope.....This is confusing, and I don't have a clue what
Ford was thinking, but here goes.....The last year for Heavy
Duty (F250 on) was model year 1997. The 1st year for the new
style for the F150 was model year 1996 while the first model
year for the F250 *light duty* with the same cab as the
F-150 was model year 1998. These F250 light dutys were only
built for two model years. In the model year 2000 The F250
light duty was rebadged as an F150 HD (GVWR 7700 lbs) For
model year 1999 (1st delivery in 3/98) the Super Duty came
on the scene and of course was a completely different
platform from the F250 light duty and the F150's. Its weird
but the F250 *light dutys* and the F250 SD's were part of
Fords truck line up between March 98 and end of model year
99.
