Cold! 30 degrees with gusting winds! But oh so fun. My wife and son where
there so it was fun. Little girl stayed with my Brother. Only 9 of us braved
the elements, out of 100 members! LOL Maybe 10 % aren't as smart as the
other 90% ;)

Congrats on the Mulley and Whitetail. I have set aside the detector
for a while doing some steelhead fishing instead (too cold to metal
detect as the ground is starting to freeze)
Those are some cool pictures of the float. Looks like people were
having a lot of fun putting it together.
How was the turnout at the parade?

BTW I won the Treasure Hunter of the Year for the club tonight! I am very
surprised and humbled by that award. It is the club's first and it means a
lot to me.

Congratulations on the Club Award!!!!! I have a pretty good gut
feeling you earned it. Hard but fun work. It does keep us "in shape"
though.
I liked the float pictures a lot. I guess I don't recall any others
doing such a thing (I could be wrong). Just a nice idea to have so
many people pitching in and having so much fun. That's one of the
nicest things about our hobby, it brings nice people together.
I agree, 30 degrees with wind isn't all that comfortable to be
standing out in the open watching a parade. Nice to hear the turnout
was good.
I browsed around a bit on your clubs website. I didn't get the time to
look at everything so will be back for second and third looks:)
I have to mention that whomever did the club website did a bang up job
of it too.Very nice work.

has done a lot for the club for two years. There were many deserving club
memebrs that should be recognozed. I am going to write a peace about the
guys as I see it and be pretty humble about the award.
I do bring an outreach mindset to the leadership which was missing. We all
hae talents and best used instead of wasted. I was behind the parade but
that night while waiting in line to get started directly in the wind I was
thinking it was a dumb idea! lol The new website and club business cards so
we showed a unified front when we give a card representing us or the club.
I too am the webmaster and designer of the website. One other guy helps with
the forum admin.

the website or what is missing as well.
