Cancun in July?

What's Cancun like this time of year? Besides hot.

Can anyone suggest sites to see, places to go or not go, things to eat or
not?

I've been to Cancun in July. It is very hot! I live in the Tropics so
the heat was bearable. It is also rainy season but rain and clouds
generally don't last long. I recommend a tour of Isla Mujeres(included

in many hotel packages). A trip to Cozumel via Playa Del
Carmen(beautiful topless beach) is fun for a day. There are also many
Mayan ruins (ie Tulum) that can be done on a day trip. Many good malls
to shop at in Cancun. I prefer these than the bartering in Playa Del
Carmen and other places. HTH.
