easyJet hand luggage

Just FYI really...

Just booked some flights with EZY for next year, and it seems they
have increased their hand luggage permitted size (not that it was
enforced anyway) from the old 55x40x20 to IATA 56x45x25.

Another move in the business-ification of their airline, I guess - or
just an admission of what was actually happening on the ground?

Whatever it is, it's very welcome, as most "hand luggage" is
manufactured to the IATA size.

They don't fly very many routes competitively.
