Quite right too.. BA and BAA are two separate companies.
But what's this Ken, is the Pilton freedom fighter turning his back
on the plebs?
Shouldn't you be insisting everyone enjoys BA's fast track service
irrespective of class?
Your "retired travel consultant" knowledge of the benefits of paying
for upper class travel appears to be lacking, again

Good grief! You reckon I am a retired 'travel consultant'..totally
unbelievable...incredible if fact...
As I understand it there are two ways in which airports manage Fast Track
security and I have no idea which EDI uses.
First it's simply something the passenger chooses to pay for on the day.
Second the airline pays for certain categories of passengers.
In the case of BA at Edinburgh I have a question. I thought all BA
domestic flights were one class. You can buy (I think) what they brand as
business fares which confer things like changeability but no better seating.
Or did you have a through ticket on to a connection Business Class flight at
Heathrow?
I feel an archive dredge coming on.... Youve been caught out before....

Fuck off.

Somebody manages Edinburgh Airport? You astound me, sir.

I had a connection in London for an onward flight in business class.

My apologies for letting my fingers type ahead of my brain. I should
have written something coherent and courteous. For instance, I might
have written,
Dear Turkey Man
While I agree in principle with everything you say, I fear you may
have lost the distinction between a Socialist and a Communist. A
Communist wants to destroy First Class on the trains and in the air,
whereas a Socialist wishes only to destroy Second Class.
Now fuck off.
Ken Johnson
Thank you for fucking off. You may fuck a lot further off, should you
wish to oblige your audience.

Hmmm. Even with that statement it is possible (but unlikely) that you paid
a non business fare to get to London. My view is that, despite the
disclaimer by BA staff, BA have chosen not to pay Edinburgh Airport to allow
their passengers connecting to a BA business class flight (the onward flight
was a "real" BA flight, not a codeshare, wasn't it?) through Fast Track.
Complain to BA.

I hear independent owners are in the pipeline..you might even get to
pay a premium for jumping the security queue..

If you want to fast-track BAA's EDI security would you be willing to
pay extra for it?

So what 'class' are you? It's only a few years since you were
criticising fat tourists
preying on minimum wage hotel staff,,decrying low wage jobs as not
being proper jobs,
in fact you were even advocating the Plebs be given the posh houses at
Cramond and Barnton.
Some of us have good memories Ken, your memory seems to be failing you
since your Tesco days.
If you want to discuss this via email, I will willingly oblige. What I
won't do is demeen myself exchanging the foul language
you revel in.. If you claim to be 'business class', at least drop the
gutter language explicits.
I'm sure your old comrades would agree.

Thank god that decent-language posters still exist in here. Very
refreshing Graham...
