John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is located in North Palm Beach off
of A1A. It was $4 per car entrance fee when we went last year. Now the
price has gone up slightly to $5 per vehicle with a maximum of eight
people.

It was still sea turtle season when we visited so the beach was
covered in seaweed. They don't clean up it so as to not disturb any
sea turtle nests. The beach was still very enjoyable anyway.

The best part about this park is the nature trail near the beach where
you can see 100's of butterflies and a few hummingbirds flying
around.

The next time we go back, I'm planning on renting a kayak to explore
the Lake Worth Cove and maybe see some more birds that live in the
mangrove forests.
