I received my ordered introduction today (for $5) and I am already
trying to figure out how to get my hands on their set of 10 catalogues...
There are two sets of catalogues available.
10 catalogues : $50
16 catalogues : $80 ( Canadian $ )
This seems to be a REAL quality place, if for nothing other than their
10 years of experience with CDs.
They do transformations, and if the photos they sent me was anything to
go by, they are good! ( Or, the girls were just plain good looking... :)
Now, I got in the mail today a large (A4) envelope, no logos on the
outside, no "names". It was TRULY sealed off (they must have a HUGE
tape-budget... :) and inside... was a catalogue from The Owen Sound
Visitor & Convention Bureau, inside which the REAL stuff was... Just in
case my mother happened to open it I guess... ;)
They carry A LOT, these people...
I've ordered some underwear from them, by fax, and it took them 4 days
to get it from Canada to Norway! Wow!

Past Patterns carry just that, patterns for dresses etc. from the
period 1830 to 1939. Most of these patterns come in multi-sizes, ranging
from 8 (bust 31, waist 24) to 20 (bust 40, waist 33).
They have several corsets and stays, and for most you can buy an entire
kit containing everything but the thread.
Prices are sensible. Example:
1901-1908 Edwardian "Straight-Fronted" Corset kit including everything
but the thread = $40.
In the back of their catalogue are a list of books/publications/
organizations/persons that are involved in the field of reproduction of
textiles and clothing.

corsets and corselettes from the early 1900's, thought they also
stock the ribbon corset advertised in the Amazon Vinegar & Pickling
Works Drygoods catalog. They seem to tacitly admit that most of
their creations are not for ordinary use but don't speak about the
subject, and seem equally prepared to sell to men and women. Prices
in 1987 were about $50 US for a stock corset, $80-$100 US for custom
corsets. I obtained a catalog for the price of a SASE with an IRC.
They claim may be able to find a corset of the desired size and
style from their selection of old and discontinued stock if supplied
with a photograph or illustration of your desires.
