Transgendered Woman Murdered in Boston

[Boston, MA: 30 Nov 98] TRANSGENDER WOMAN RITA HESTER
was murdered in
her
Allston apartment on Saturday (28 Nov 98). She died of
multiple stabs
wounds.

The Boston Globe reports that a neighbor heard
a commotion at
about 6:15 p.m. Saturday, but ignored the noise. "I
heard a lot of
bangs," she said, "but I just thought someone was
pounding on the
door."
Police have no leads except to say that the victim
probably knew the
killer. Other neighbors are nervous. Said one, "I don't
know much. But
I
wouldn't want to say much if I did know. You never know
what [the
killer]
might do."

The Globe reports the death of William Hester.
"He was a
nightclub singer and a party thrower, a man who sported
long braids and
preferred women's clothes..." The Globe editor
responsible for the
story
decreed to his
reporter that only male references would be made about
the victim.
Nowhere is acknowledgement made in their report that
Hester was living
as
a woman.

There was a meeting of transactivists and
interested citizens
on
Tuesday (1 Dec 98) in Boston to respond to Hester's
murder and media
misrepresentations of her. See contact above for
details.

I do. Furthermore, how do you know she was "nervous", and even if she
was...how does that have any effect on the injustice of her murder and the
insensitivity of the Globe to all TG people?

Please do not clip and snip and recreate, as selective snipping,
clipping and recreation is frowned upon AND SHOWS A LACK OF CHARACTER,
AND INTEGRITY. PLease include previous sentences and paragraphs, as the
above quotation you have attributed to me as a post in the newsgroup is
fabricated or an altered version and is fraudulent and misleading.

AS for your comments made to the altered text which you created and
posted,I reply as follows; as for the TV/Tg being nervous and how would
anybody know, you have indicated with your altered text that "the globe
has reported it". It is obvious you dont read.
One would know by simply reading! MOREOVER, I HAVE NEVER READ ANY
ARTICLE EVER PUBLISHED BY THE GLOBE!

In reply to the emotional state of the TV/TG, even if she was nervous,
it has absolutely no bearings or effect on any injustice that may have
occurred due to her unfortunate murder.

As for the subsequent (insensitivity of the Globe), according to you,
which was thrusted on the TV/TG community. I haver no comment as I never
read the article!

I trust that this clears up any misunderstandings, that this erroneous
and misguided post by an obviously concerned and overzealous patriot,
may have caused to any unsuspecting reader of the potential abuse and
deceit, twisted and fabricated quotations may cause.

Why do you refer to this as a debate? and why if it is a debat do you
consider it a waste of time? and why if it is a debate would you debate
with me?
