Let's find similarities between Transformers and the Amiga! I'll start.

1) Both were originally introduced in about 1984.
2) Both have stopped production in the early 1990s, then re-emerged as
another incarnation in the middle 1990s.
3) Both are, erm, machines.
4) Both have personalities.

Can anyone else add more? I'd like to see them.

They're both "robots in disguise"? Maybe?

5) They're unposeable. [Does not apply to all TFs].
6) Sometimes they're needlessly mocked by today's youngsters.
7) You always wanted to play with your friends' ones.
8) They brought people together.
9) Both had rivals - Atari ST/Gobots.

A former Atari ST 520 owner..

5) I have both occupying major space in my room.
6) I use my Amiga to play Sensible Soccer, Iacon FC are a popular Autobot
Team.
7) Hot Rod thought he had an Amiga - Arcee....

Marc. (Amiga owner who thinks SWOS will never be beaten, until Transformers
Football gets released :) )

PS. My Transformers Football (AKA Soccer) Team: (4-4-2 Formation of
course....)

Goalkeeper: Scorponok G1 - With his great size and strength he should have
no problem keeping any shots out.

Defence:

Left-Back: G2 Megatron, A Large imposing player with plenty of strength and
the ability to cross and shoot from any position.
Centre Backs: Sideswipe and Snaptrap. An unusual combination of defenders,
both with different and unique talents, but neither are likely to let any
attackers past them, well not alive anyways.
Right-Back: PM Prime, just like Megatron, strong and imposing with good
crossing and shooting ability.

Midfield:

Left-Wing: Blur, for his blinding speed. Perhaps not as strong as he could
be, but his speed helps him get the ball up front ASAP.
Central-midfielders: Prowl (Captain), logical and very tactically astute,
Prowl's precision keeps the team working as a Unit. He's partnered in the
centre with the flair Player Jazz, who suprises the opposition with his
silky skills.
Right-wing: Hot Rod. Despite being a bit of an ego-maniac, Hot Rod can get
up and down the pitch quick smart and has the talent (and luck) to ensure a
successful attack.

Strikers:

Centre Forwards: Bumblebee (Like I was going to leave him out!) - Despite
his lack of stature his skill enabled him to avoid defenders and unleash the
shots that count, his courage and enthusiasm ensure that he's always giving
110%. His striking partner is none other than Springer, with his ability to
get up in the air, he ensures that theres always someone on the end of the
crosses provided by the rest of the team.

(Well, I hope thats not too off topic, but I'd love to see other peoples TF
Sports teams along with their explanations of their managerial decisions!)
