Pretty simplistic transform, but the kibble at the back looks
horrendous. How well does he balance?

With those clodhoppers, pretty darn well.

Agreed about the kibble, though. Would have been more fun if it had
rotated 90 degrees to form a backpack and more conventional
upwards-pointing dorsal wings.

Yeah, he's Mr Stable.

I have to say, though, that I really like his wings. Straight up isn't
something we see a lot of with TFs, although I usually pose Cybertron
Jetfire with his wings at about 30o from the vertical, mostly just to
reduce his footprint, but he looks pretty good like that.

The main thing I don't like about Strat is the fact that Optimus doesn't
fit anywhere in robot mode. I have the feeling I'm going to lose him
someday...

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it will be
yours forever. If it doesn't, then it was never yours to begin with.
(If it sits around in your living room and eats your food, hogs your
bathroom and spends your money, then you either married it or gave
birth to it.)

I was going to add that ;)

That Prime isn't THAT small is he? I haven't lost a minicon that I
noticed so far so I'm fairly certain I can keep track of him. (hell i
never even lost the gass nuzzle for my childhood G1 prime :) )

What kind of cat do you own? I've never had a cat spend my money. I
spend money on her, but she's shown no interest in figuring out how to
use my debit card.

... I hope you're not building this up to be a Garfield punchline.
This isn't that sort of newsgroup!
