I got Wild Ride at Wizzywig.com for 26 bucks, and I still say that's a
damn good buy for a damn good toy.

The rest; I should probably buy before passing judgment.

Get wild-Ride, he's ultra-spiffycus!

If you already have SFC, get GM. If not, get SFC :)
The brothers aren't as big as I thought. Their head aresmaller than the
Vehicons. They're a little bigger than BM Mirage in vehicle mode.
Reccomendations of bros. in order:
Wildride
MA or Super MA
Speedbreaker

My favorite of the Car Bros. Cleanest transformation, cool robot mode, and
can have a Sideswipe-style jetpack. "Super" version has a very nice
alternative color scheme.

(how big are the Dx brothers?)

They're about the size of an average US deluxe.

> Speedbreaker

Kibbliest of the three, difficult to transform, but still fairly cool IMO.
The BW Neo wannabe of the bunch. (In car mode, I can never remember where to
stow his little chromed gun/knife weapon. Anyone?)

> Wild Ride

Great vehicle mode, somewhat oddball but still loveable robot mode. Great if
you like TM2-style asymmetry. My second favorite of the Car Bros. His
recolor as a rally car also looks very nice.

> God Magnus

Freakin' great toy if you have Super Fire Convoy. If not, get SFC first (he
also rocks).

> Black Battle Convoy (how big is he?)

Don't have this guy yet but I'm picking him up as soon as my local import
store gets him in. He looks sweet and I never got Laser Prime, sooo . . .

If I were you, I'd start with the Car Bros. and build your collection from
there. That's what I did. Have fun!

What are you smoking ? they are way bigger than a G1 car let alone a Basic
sized Beast Machines..

Technically the Car Robots are "Deluxe" in size. I personnaly like to
compare them to the G2 Laser rods / Illuminators. as they are similarly
articulated (even before Beast Wars had ball joints they did) and in Car
mode they are the same size.

BTW if you have these guys check there batteries.. I looked at mine on a
whim and the batteries had started to leak.. so I had to take 'em out.

(obviously not Alcaline batteries were used here)

Anyway God Magnus is good if you have Fire Convoy....

If you lack any big baddies I would say Gigatron first then. Black (battle)
Convoy.

I would not count out Recommending JRX or Build King as they are great too.

I agree that Wildride's a good way to start.

I find My self playing with the following most.

1) Fire Convoy. (So hot he's cool .best Transformer for years... and looks
nice along side his fellow super Optimal Optimus)
2) Gigatron. ( a dozen plus modes to play with whats not to love....well
there is his ankle balls Joints I suppose)
3) JRX. (pooop Poooop ...chuckle.Trains are fun)
4) Wildride. ( Love Mercedes ML 320 / 430's...and he looks like a real
expensive toy car not a Transformer)
5) Gusher. ( he's small cute and furry and I like him...if only for that tin
hat bit on the show..chuckle)
6) Gelshark. ( I love frogs and he's better decorated than Spittor 2, he
also looks like the upgrade of European Spittor too)
7) Machalert. (Nice looking toy but a bit fragile, and the wheels don't
always roll flat first time).
8) Gaskunk. (definatly recommended particularly if you passed on
Cybershark..he looks georgeous in person)
9) Speedbreaker. ( kibble city blues...only like him in the modes the actual
transforming is a complete pain)

I never touch Indy Heat and Wrecker Hook, Guildo, or the Spychangers. ( they
don't match very well in scale )

I expect God Magnus's compatability and Build King's Candy cuteness they
will be high up the list too.

I have no plans to rush to get Black Battle Convoy, Devil Gigatron, Spark
Engine Car Robot Brothers, or Barudigus/Baldigus just yet... I'll get some
old microman and cyborg stuff I'd like first as some of that looks nicer to
me.

I still have not ordered a God Magnus yet... (must get round to that
sometime..chuckle). [ I wonder if all 6 Spychangers fit on top of God
Magnus. two abrest ?]

Over all I recommend Wildride, and Fire Convoy. even though I have a soft
spot for trains and therefore I love JRX (he's a combiner and therefore has
more playability IMO..)

Well, I'm looking a them side by side, and they are the exact same length
(sans missles), and the only thing that makes MA higher really is the
sirens, though MA's height is more consistent. Like I said, in vehicle mode.

Yessss! I adore his transformation.

Furry frog? Cuz Gusher is the frog.

You like frogs? What does that have to so with Gelshark, a SHARK?

Get the Stinkbomb repaint if we passed on Cybershark?

Dude, you've go the them all mixed up. GaSKUNK is the SKUNK. GelSHARK is the
SHARK. Gusher is the frog. What are YOU smoking? :)

They're roughly the same size as the average BW Deluxe.

Hmmmmmm...

Truthfully, I'd say Wild, Speed & Mach would be your best bet... I'm pretty
sure you can find SOMEPLACE that's selling them for roughly $25 a pop (which
is really the ceiling I'd put on ANY Deluxe-level toy, barring hyper-rare
ones.) They're decent toys... not without their faults (in a place or two
rather annoying), but they're still (in my opinion) really the best CR has
to offer right now. If you're after G1-ish stuff, these aren't too far away.

Personally, I'd cast a vote for Gigatron, myself. He's pretty nice. VERY
ornate styling, and his modes are somewhat less ambiguous than your average
multi-changer...

I know. If I could just bring myself to dismount him froim his terrific pose
astride a beast mode Supreme Cheetor's back, using the buig cat like a war
steed, I'd hav him in hand mode, no doubt threatening the Autobots with the
Middle Finger of Doom.

I think Super Mach Alert is one of the best Transformers ever. Very
cool colors and a nice Transformation. The other cars are cool too
although I don't like the colors and Transformation of Super
Speedbreaker. Personally I don't care to much about SFC and GM. Black
Battle Convoy is cool too but I like the car brothers better.

It has a peg on his robo-butt, and when it is sideways, it fits there in car
mode, you just have a harder time transforming him around the weapon

get them all... oops j/k
don't waste money on the black convoy just yet, wait until you have all the
ones your heart desires, he's exactly the same as the original but molded in
cheaper plastic. i'd say go for fire convoy or the 3 car bros at once.
think of it as if it were G1 all over again, get the guys you see in the
anime in order of appearence :)

Ah, thanks. I knew the peg was there, but could never get the arm to fit
with the weapon pegged on. Shall try again.
