I'm probably going, yeah.
I had debated it, but even from the Pocono area it's still a 5-plus hour
drive, and I've actually got an abandoned mental institution to investigate
this weekend with my team for a local legendary haunting. So, in light of
that, I'm out. 8^)
If you're going though, make sure to let us all know how it was. It just
fell wrong for me.

I went last year around this same time and got ripped pretty hard for
some G1 bits I was overexcited in getting. Spent $40 overall on a G1
Magnus with trailer, head and chest (forgot his waist and there were
no fists), some Onslaught parts (including the ramp which I only later
realized was 'useless' because it has no peg) and a G2 Prime trailer.
Not one of my better moments of judgement, but hey, it was my first
convention.
I'm over in Altoona, so it's only more of an hour-and-a-half drive.
May or may not be taking the girlfriend depending on how she feels
that day. (She works nights, so she'd have to sleep.)

Indeed. I totally forgot about it until just today, actually. Good
thing, too.
I won't be going even though I live in Brooklyn,NYC. I've already
spent way too much on all the recent TF animated & TF classic 2.0
toys.
Really? I lived 100 miles from the Grand Canyon for 37 years and never
went.
I know, right? It always surprises people from out of the area that, living
so close to NY city, that, in my 36 years I've only ever been *in* the city
*ONCE*. They think that you should be going all the time to "the big city"
and "enjoying the sights and shows"... it's rubbish. I'm a Pocono local,
and I plan on staying thus. No offense Deathy because I know you live and
work there, but, IMO, I think NYC, (or any city for that matter), sucks.
Green "country-bumpkin" boy
But you're missing the sights and the sounds and the smells... the
smells!
In Monroeville? Haha... Definition: A suburban strip mall wasteland
located outside the GREAT, BEAUTIFUL city of Pittsburgh. If you
aren't afraid of the big, bad city, check out Toy Emporium on Carson
St. in the South Side. 'Course, I'm sure the Con will satisfy all
your toy-craving needs.
