Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has heard a September 11th tribute in the
form of Silent Night on the radio/Internet. In the background is a
Silent Night instrumental, with a voice which is supposed to be God.
The voice sounds remarkably like Peter Cullen, and I wondered if any
Transfans got a chance to hear this. Not only is it incredibly good,
it will more than likely bring a tear to your eye.

Happy Holidays everyone.

My local newspaper just had an article about this piece. I have heard
the song in question as well. The instrumental is Mannheim
Steamroller's "Stille Nacht" (which is the original German title of
"Silent Night"), but it is not Peter Cullen. It is Bob Holliday, a
production director for KFSH in Los Angeles. KFSH is the station that
originally put the words and music together.

You can read the words and download the song at

My local newspaper just had an article about this piece. I have heard

the song in question as well. The instrumental is Mannheim
Steamroller's "Stille Nacht" (which is the original German title of
"Silent Night") from their album "Christmas", but it is not Peter
Cullen. It is Bob Holliday, a production director for KFSH in Los
Angeles. KFSH is the station that originally put the words and music
together.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone reading these words.
May the holiday season and the new year bring new feelings of
friendship and togetherness.

-Phil/That instrumental has become one of the definitive versions of
"Silent Night" in my opinion. On my list of favorite Christmas songs,

that's right near the top. So's the most recognizable version of
"Feliz Navidad", actually. Strange pairing, innit?
