So, my son was sitting in his toy box (pretending it was a boat,
apparently) and he discovered that he broke his poor Swoop. I should
say that Swoop is pretty much his favorite toy ever and he is heartily
displeased, to say the least. He loves Swoop so much that I actually
got him a Jhong Zin knockoff (because it was produced more recently
and, or so I thought, made from more sturdy plastic).

As of now, I'd like to find another broken Swoop toy and try to
Frankenstein the two toys together into one workable unit. I know
there are lots of Swoop toys with broken wings or broken-off beaks
that aren't busted in the same place this one is (one of the chrome
neck clips came off).

In other news, I have a half-assembled G1 Slag that I've been wanting
to give to him as soon as I find parts to complete it. Right now,
it's missing one of the gold robot feet (the left one) and the gold
"brain" for the dinosaur mode. All I need is a broken, otherwise
worthless Slag with those parts.

I managed to rebuild the knee joint to an old Sludge toy that I got
for four bucks, so he's got three out of five Dinobots and is pretty
pleased with himself. I don't imagine there are too many other five-
year-olds in the world who own actual vintage G1 toys. It is both a
curse and a blessing. It's so much easier when I can just take
something to Walmart if it breaks and exchange it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I checked eBay, and searched specifically
for broken Swoops, but it's difficult to tell just where they're
broken. I'll go to eBay if I have to, but I figured I'd check here
first. I have a disturbing number of G1 duplicates so I can trade,
too.

I have one. His beak/beast head is broken off. Dunno if that's of any
use to you or not.

Unfortunately I made my 4 broken swoops into 1 complete swoop, 1
mostly complete swoop, and 2 very broken swoops and sold them all. All
I have right now is a broken Grimlock, missing his neck panels, and
dino head, and probably some other parts too, that I was going to look
for other broken G1 Grimlocks to build a complete one because all I
have right now is G2 blue.

If you really want a broken G1 grimlock, all I ask is shipping and $1.

I am rapidly expanding on my partsbot bin as I have trouble not buying
TFs I see for cheap, but mostly acumulate Constructicons and stuff
from the last 10 years.
