Some of you may recall I mentioned a few day prior that I was trying to put
together my own personal season 3 episode guide. I was able to dig thru all
my tapes and found all but 4 episodes. Some of which I didn't know I had,
and others I thought I did have but don't. So in the last 2 days, I have
watched all season 3 episodes EXCEPT "Carnage in C-Minor", "The Broadcast of
2006", "The Quintesson Journal" and "The Ultimate Weapon". Having worked
off what I've seen and read up on at one of the ATTers' site (I forget the
name, so here's a free plug... http://cybertronchronicle.freewebspace.com/),
I have come to this conclusion and have compiled THIS list. It is in the
order that I, personally, would have liked to have seen them in. Problem
is... I'm not the biggest G1 buff and I'm sure I missed a bunch of
continuity errors here. And I'm sure there are people here who are much
more anal about G1 than I am, if that's possible. =P

So if anyone wants to comment on it and tell me what's wrong, or what's
right, or why I have a dose of temporary insanity... please feel free to.

Thanks.

I remember--you were asking about the correct continual (as opposed to
airing) order of episodes FIGHT OR FLEE, THIEF IN THE NIGHT, and
STARSCREAM'S GHOST, I believe.

Sound like a nice little treasure hunt. :)

That would have been my name you forgot. :)

I looked over the list kind of cursory-like, and though I'm at work at the
moment and don't have time to check intensively, nothing jumped out
at me as being unworkable in terms of continuity. The most obvious
continuity problems would pertain to characters being shown in an
episode prior to another episode depicting their creation, and that
doesn't happen in your list. If I remember something that's out of
order, I'll be sure to let you know, though.

Thanks again. If it wasn't for your audio file of Nightmare Planet, I would
have never known what was being said in the episode. My copy is horrid.

The list looks good to me, except one thing,.....one really anal retentive
thing, technically rebirth was season 4, not three. Oh and I have avi/RM
copies of all of G1 including the ones you were missing. Let me know how and
I could send them to you, either by email or I could burn then onto cds ans
mail them off. Most of them are good quality, the only one I can think of
that's not is probably Face of the Nijika, the sound's off on it. if you're
interested just send me an email and I'll get them sent off.

Oh and please forgive the typing, I'm recovering from a hand injury and it's
surprisingly hard to type w/one hand after gettng used to typing w/two. I
fixed all the errors I could find, but I might have missed some.

Thanks. Typing's fine.

I was JUST given access to an FTP of a friend of mine not 15 minutes ago,
and he's got the episodes I need... so I *should* finally be set. But
thanks for offering though.

How so. Just curious. Because there were no other episodes after
Rebirth.

Well, THE REBIRTH was something of a wrap-up episode, but
as I see it, anyway, there is a certain cut-off between it and THE
RETURN OF OPTIMUS PRIME. So while THE REBIRTH is by
no means a proper season on its own, it's as close as we're ever
going to get.

Everywhere that I've ever seen it listed it was listed as season four, maybe
originally there were intended to be more eps afterwards, but they got
canceled.

Yes... it is part of season 4. But I figured, why bother putting 3 episodes
in their own list for just themselves, when everyone already knows they come
directly after the last episode of the prior one. So I just stuck them in
there. =P

And sorry... my Nijika ep is not in the greatest of conditions.

Yeah, like I said, it's a very anal retentive point. It's really very silly
to only have three eps in a season, so it makes sense to just put them after
The Return of Optimus Prime.

How is it silly? During the 1986-87 television season, only three new episodes
of Transformers were produced. That constitutes the fourth season of the
series. Where's the confusion?
