I'm sorry, I'm usually not one for flaming or Pronko-esque commentary :)
but this "director's cut" or "uneditied version" of the TF Movie has to be
complete Ener-crap. Starscream's leg blown off? Uh..no. Does it get sewn
on before or after he shoots his foot and then when Galvatron smokes
him? A year ago or so someone lied about the Ironhide death scene with
his brains being splattered at Megatron's feet...inspiration enough. But
most importantly, why didn't you mention the scenes that a lot of people
saw at BotCon last year from TF: HERO? You think these weren't included
in that unique reel and there's an un-un-edited version too?! For $250
Canadian per hour of conversion (did I get that right?) this supposed
VHS tape will have a hefty price tag. Good luck though. I sure hope you
are for real.

Just my opinion, I could be completely wrong.

I'm absolutely with you. This sounds like someone with an overactive
imagination and too much time on his hands. I hope it is for real too,
of course, though by now I have probably put myself on this guys never-
ever-sell list. :) If he does turn out to be legit (ha), anyone want
to buy a second copy and hand it off to me?

Ok, there is only one way to settle this for sure : when/if they get it
copied and start selling copies. Until then let's all just hold the nasty
comments or pages of reasons why this version does/does not exist.

First off if you asses actually read all of the messages you would
understand the starscream leg thing was a mistype and it was suppossed to
be foot. Yes they actually show the laser contacting with the foot and
the damage in detail.
The conversion fee exists at such a high price because it is difficult
and time consuming to transfer 35mm film stock and we can't get it don't
commercially because of copyright laws being broken. $250 dollars is
cheap for such a process. As far as your Bot Con movie....just remember
the version we have is a Japenese film stock which was brought over and
cut and redubbed and sold to the American Hasbro. Any version you see
commercially in the States even at a convention will be an American
version. As far as an over active imagination. You sorry fools can't
accept a version you didn't know about or don't have. The carnage in the
Japanese version put any violence left there for your viewing pleasure to
shame. Just keep one thing in mind WE HAVE THE COPY AND YOU DON'T.....WE
CAN WATCH AND ENJOY... YOU CAN'T AND IF THERE IS ANY MORE OBSURD CRAP
LIKE THE PREVIOUS TWO DRIVILLE....ALL YOU FAN BOYS CAN DIE WATCHING YOU
OTHER SO CALLED UNCUT VERSION WITH EXTRA 2 MINUTES.....japan is japan and
America is America.....versions are owned by seperate companies and any
parts told in any messages was just the tip of the iceberg we didn't want
to scare all you pathetic skeptic boys with too much shocking details....

And you too. If you REALLY have a version of the movie that has not
surfaced until now in the U.S., then there's no reason you have to
defend yourself. Of COURSE they're skeptical; they search MANY places,
often, and have not yet encountered this obvious TREASURE in the 12 or
so YEARS of near-lunatic searching for ANY TF items. Can't you see that
this is a gold mine that you hold in your hand? Badmouthing those that
have no hand in the profits is hardly a way to do business, and this
newsgroup is hardly the place for namecalling. YOU hold the ball, not
the rest of us. I know there are MANY of us that really do want to see
whatever you've got, myself included, regardless of whether it has what
you say it does. I wish you the best of luck, and I wait to hear of
future developments. But I will not stand by while ANYBODY starts rough
namecalling.

ooh. That's pretty classy. I wonder how long he was planning on doing something like this to
teach us a lesson. I guess now I know not to do this.

I can fully understand that conversion from 35mm would be costly... I
don't think anybody's arguing that point.

Wait... you said you got it, but then that you can't get it... you MIGHT
want to clarify this...

> As far as an over active imagination. You sorry fools can't

Well, after hearing about cuts that apparently didn't exist IN AMERICAN
RELEASES TO THE PUBLIC for several years, there IS reason for
suspicion... "sorry fools can't accept"? We CAN accept it... but not without
some form of PROOF. Why not take a picture and scan it? Take just a little
time to proove this version's existance? You'll have a MUCH easier time
on this group (or ANY group, for that matter) if you simply back up your
claims with evidence...

Yes, some people may have been a bit premature in calling you a liar.
Your claim is not wholly outrageous. BUT...

Y'know, I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt... I had no real
problem believing that there WAS a more violent version that wasn't
released in any form in AMERICA...

But I don't care anymore. The attitude you've got now... threats and
insults won't make you very popular. All it takes is a few bad trades to
ruin someone's reputation... Did you HONESTLY expect to just pop up, say
you've come across a new version of the movie, and expect us all to believe it
as godsend? Skeptics are inevitable. Learn to deal with them in a CIVILIZED
and MATURE manner.

We may be hanging on to a small portion of our childhoods, but we ARE NOT
CHILDREN. If this version does indeed exist, more power to you in
bringing it to videocassette. But if you continue to act in this manner,
you're going to find a LOT less people are actually going to give a shit
if this version exists or not, because nobody is going to want to deal
with you.

I'm doing just fine with my version of the movie... not having the "true
uncut" version is NOT going to hurt me in any way, shape or form. Hell, I
could never see ANY version of the movie at all again in my life, and I
wouldn't be hurt.

Your claim IS a bit hard to take merely at face value... and your attitude
certainly isn't helping.

I just wanted to say that this person has nothing at all to do with the
uncut version of the film we have and if you guys don't want to believe
don't it your loss, but don't connect me with this ass.
