I don't see a lot of talk about them here, but we had my Birthday party
with my best friends on Sunday, and among other things I received Kre-O
Megatron. I haven't had a chance to build him yet (pesky school gets in the
way of everything) but I'm digging Kreon Megatron and Shockwave. I also got
another legion Vehicon.

Well, crap. My android newsreader app didn't include the
quote. This comment was related to getting more Legion
Vehicons.

The army builders. The comment isn't as weird in context...

First off, happy birthday! What else did you get? Anything cool?

I really wanted to like the Kre-O sets, but they came out during a
point when I didn't have a huge amount of disposable income, and I
knew that if I got one or two sets, I'd probably want to end up
getting them all. So, I never bothered. Ironic, considering I was
gobbling up Built to Rule sets like mad a few years ago, and I totally
hated Armada. I would have really only bought the Kre-O sets for the
mini-figures, and they're too expensive for that.

You can still grab them all up. There haven't been any new assortments
since those initial releases, and they're all still out there.

Kreo Megatron and Sentinel are pretty cool, I got them on TRU
clearance for cheap, and they come with the best minifigs (Megs,
soundwave, shockwave, thundercracker, skywarp,)

I liked the Megatron robot alot more than I ever thought I would, and
they fit in well with city lego figures. Not so well with Castle lego,
which i have the most of.

I saw today at Target ,the Marvel legos are out now, and in the grand
tradition of catching things when they are fres, the LOTR legos are
out now.... as well as Ghost-hunters vs. classic horror, wolfman,
dracula, and alot of the ghosts I got back in the day in my castle
sets.

Target also marked up Prime deluxes to $16.50, and ROTF deluxes to
$30...yes, that's $30, over 4x what Wal-mart wants for em. But we're
finally getting a Ross down the street from Target, they're moving in
where the TJ Maxxx moved out, which makes no sense to me as they are
the same company.

Is this the first time Deluxes have broke the $15 threshhold that
wasn't somewhere online or, like, a drug store like CVS or something?

Woah! That's gotta be a mistake.

Those prices are insane. And I thought T'R'U was bad for charging $28 for
Prime Powerizers.

Thanks. I got the Powerizers Bulkhead that Lynn (my wife) found in Amazon
Marketplace, so I don't even want to guess at what he cost. The rest was
new clothes that I needed as over the last year and a half I've lost 300
pounds. I'm not sure how much I care for how Megatron looks on the box,
the Kreons are really quite cool, I wish they were available separately
like Lego is doing with their mini-figures. Or even the army builder sets
like Lego Clone Troopers that I'm addicted to.

With as many Bumblebees we have around here, I don't think I'll ever see a
Deluxe Vehicon.
