Unfortunately, now that I have him, and can look at him up close, I
find that I can't remember Ramjet at all...
Who is Ramjet?
What colors was he in G1?
How did he distinguish himself from the other 5 seekers?
What were his motivations?
Why does he love toast?
Was there any episode that explored his character?
Thanks,
Gustavo (now a proud owner of a G2 Ramjet)

"Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schitzophrenic and so am I."

And a conehead! Yay! You could behead him and play tricks on commuters.
If you wanted to. Actually, that would work better with Thrust.
> >How did he distinguish himself from the other 5 seekers?

"The skies are my castle, and I like to live alone!" I think he also
liked to ram other Decepticons who got in his way. Not in the
cartoon, though.

Suck up to the leader, although not as much as
Soundwave/Cyclonus/Scourge.

And anyway, *someone* has to keep me in a job on Cybertron. :)

No, regrettably, an episode about Ramjet flying into Powerglide and the
Aerialbots repeatedly would, although initially amusing, swiftly become
tiresome. :)

Actually, it's "schizophrenic," and it's not multiple-personality

simply a separation from reality - hearing voices, hallucinating,
bizarre lapses of logic, and so forth.

Ramjet was a Decepticon warrior that was introduced in the second
season of the cartoon, in the first part of the two-part episode 'Dinobot
Island'. He and his two "brothers", Thrust and Dirge, appeared to be
under the direct command of Starscream.
> What colors was he in G1?
His body was mainly white, with a slight tinge of cream on occasion,
but also dark grey and with dark red wings.
> How did he distinguish himself from the other 5 seekers?
Let's see. Whereas Thrust was something of a loudmouth, Dirge a
rather dour fellow, Ramjet was pretty much a go-out-and-do-it kind
of guy, rather much like Thundercracker and Skywarp. Starscream,
of course, probably needs no further description. :)
> What were his motivations?
To aid Megatron in achieving his goals, I should think, although,
on a personal level, he loved to crash into things, hence his name.
> Why does he love toast?
Canonically, I doubt he does. The "Ramjet loves toast!" thing is
an invention of fellow ATT poster Robowang, as far as I can tell.
> Was there any episode that explored his character?
There wasn't an episode that made him THE central character, but
he did get a lot of screen time in 'The Gambler' and especially in 'A
Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court'.
Hope that helps. :)

One of the second group of seekers, the coneheads. He usually hung around with
Thrust and Dirge.
>What colors was he in G1?
White and Black body with Maroon wings.
>How did he distinguish himself from the other 5 seekers?
He rammed things, and seemed to have some leadership potention in episodes
without Starscream.
>What were his motivations?
To beat the Autobots
>Why does he love toast?
Because Robowang said so
>Was there any episode that explored his character?
No single episode. But the following are good episodes to watch to get some
good characterization.
"The Gambler"
"A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court"
"The Girl Who Loved Powerglide"
Here are the episodes he appeared in:
Dinobot Island parts 1-2, The Master Builders, Auto Berserk, Blaster Blues, A
Decepticon Raider in King
Arthur’s Court, The Golden Lagoon, Quest for Survival, The Gambler, Triple
Takeover, The Search for
Alpha Trion, The Girl who Loved Powerglide, Hoist Goes to Hollywood, The Key to
Vector Sigma part 1,
Aerial Assault, Cosmic Rust, Transformers: The Movie, Five Faces of Darkness

But since you covered all the aspects already, I guess I'll just leave well

Ramjet, basically, kicks ass and eats toast. That's all you need to know.
Robowang,
Ramjet likes toast!
"Darn that Soundwave...ahhhhhhhhh."
"You are so RID!" -attributed to a drunken Puck, meaning unknown
He is a Decepticons jet under Starscreams comand from 1985. First aperients
in the cartoon was in "Dinobot Island part 2".
> What colors was he in G1?
His main body is white with a tuch of gray, his wings are maroon/ dark red,
his top fines/wings are black. See image for more details URL:

> How did he distinguish himself from the other 5 seekers?
In the cartoon he loved to ram thru stuff, and ram down autobots. He was a
brutal kind of guy, a action guy, who did stuff with out think thru it
first. Short way of saying it, action not words
> What were his motivations?
I just guessing but, I'd say help Megaton and the Decepticons cause win it's
way.
> Why does he love toast?
This has noting to do with Ramjet
> Was there any episode that explored his character?
There is no episode were you get to explore Ramjet character, but the ones
you get mostly out of his character is: "The Gambler", "A Decepticon Raider
in King Arthur's Court", "The Girl Who Loved Powerglide" and "Auto Berserk".

Actually, this list (which looks to be from Astrotrain's list of character
appearances) is rather lacking. Here is an accurate account of Ramjet's
US screen history, based on my own observations:
Season Two (1985)
Dinobot Island - Parts 1 & 2
The Master Builders
Auto Berserk
Megatron's Master Plan - Parts 1 & 2
Blaster Blues
A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court
The Golden Lagoon
Quest for Survival
The Gambler
Triple Takeover
The Search for Alpha Trion
The Girl Who Loved Powerglide
Hoist Goes Hollywood
The Key to Vector Sigma - Part 1
Cosmic Rust
Starscream's Brigade
The Revenge of Bruticus
Aerial Assault
B.O.T.
The Transformers - The Movie (1986)
Season Three (1986)
Five Faces of Darkness - Parts 1, 3, 4 & 5
Thief in the Night

Part 1, Jørgen. He's there. :)

First, I apologise for the misspelling. Second, it's not my fault,
Bob Wiley really said that in the movie "What about Bob?". Third,
thanks for the explanation.

"My absolute aspect is probably..."

I've a fondness for 'ole Rammy, as he was my first Decepticon. Christmas
1985. Would've been my first TF, but I opened Powerglide first. Those two
had many a dogfight in my living room that winter. I think I owe Rammy a
set of new stickers! Merry Christmas, and happy 15th birthday Ramjet!

Anyone else care inform Mr. Jorgen of Ramjet's toast fetish? I shouldn't
really have to.
Ah, but is it canonical? :)
Oh, poo on you! :P
I'm a girl, teehee!
Actually, it's my own. That's why I considered it accurate.

Haven't seen Revenge of Bruticus or BOT also. Those four episodes are the only
pre-movie episodes I have yet to watch.

Where in part 4? My video is bad quality, but I want my list as accurate as
possible.

Ah, my apologies, then. It just seemed so reminiscent of her list. :)

Makes sense.

In other words, you missed his appearance in 'Starscream's Brigade',
then. :) Remember how Brawl blasted and rendered unconscious
Ramjet and Dirge to up the Combaticons' energy absorber count
to 4? :)

I thought you'd seen it, too, since your entry read:
"Five Faces of Darkness parts 1+3-5"
That *does* mean parts 1 plus three thru five, doesn't it?
Anyway, I don't recall precisely offhand, but I believe I saw him
either on Charr or as part of the forces that attack the Autobots
under the auspices of the Quintessons. I can check it more precisely
over the weekend.

Darnit. A flub in my list. I have Dirge on there, and Ramjet is definately in
it, but somehow he evaded my list.>> >Five Faces of Darkness - Parts 1, 3, 4 &

I was tired, and I wasn't reading *my* list right. I saw it, as my list
states.
I've looked at it before. The most accurate one I've seen so far. I don't
remember seeing any errors during my visits, as I have done with many other
lists.
I have a notebook. I make two columns, Autobot and Decepticon. When someone
makes an apperance, they get written on the page that coincides with the
Episode. When they get a speaking line in the episode, I put an asterick* next
to the name. I also sometimes make a third column for the humans, quintessons,
etc.
I find it real fun. When I download episodes I usually do it the first time I
watch it, since it is easier to stop and go. When I get a new video, I watch
it once and then the second time work on my list.
