I've been waiting for this one since it was announced. $35.99 for two
figs that would cost $65-70 elsewhere. Good deal. Nice interactive
set.
For those who are interested I saw this one in Glen Burnie, MD.

Thanks for the heads-up! I was wondering when this set would be
hitting stores this year.

Would these be available in Canada?

I'll pass on this deal. since I've got 2 misb wingsabers & 1 misb
Optimus Prime.

IMO,Those huge 2 packs are only good for 2 things: (1) saving you money
if you don't already own the toys.(2) large 2 packs like this sell
great in the secondary scalper market.

Another thing...the pack-in DVD kicks serious ass! I've seen two
episodes of Cybertron to date...both were worthwhile. Missed out on
the rest since I'm one of the five people in this country who have
neither cable tv, satellite tv, or high-speed internet.

Ha, I have no cable or broadcast television AT ALL, so you're not
completely alone (although I do have DSL). I have lived in Dallas for
over eleven years, but I still have no idea what the local channels
are. I don't watch TV because I absolutely loathe commercials, so I
just wait until a show comes out on DVD and watch it straight through
like that. That's why I am always hoping that TF series will be fully
released on DVD at some later date.

Regarding your comment, are the CYB episodes available for download
somewhere? I've already watched Galaxy Force all the way through, but
it might be interesting to see how the stories differ.

Cartoon network & hasbro.com have Cybertron & other transformer
episodes to stream download & watch. you can't actually save the
episodes on your computers. just watch them live thru stream. there's
a program that prevents you from downloading these on to your computer.

Most likely this was done to not interfere with sony, rhino or whatever
getting more money for these episodes. if fans can make there own
CD's/dvd's why bother buying them in stores. yeah once again the rich
guys win & the fans lose.

Is this still available? I don't have a CostCo in my area, but I
may be travelling.

There were plenty of them there as of last week.

They're coming in pallets of something like 48 or so pieces a skid, looks
like one skid per store, I think.

Be aware, CostCo will NOT let you buy anything without a membership, which
is $50. I do have them available (www.capturedprey.com), and while there's
markup involved, of course, that and the shipping is still massively less
than a membership would be just for the purpose of getting one for oneself.
Which is sort of the idea - I'm trying to make these available to people not
near a CostCo. We didn't have one here until late last month.
