Joyride

Setting: Apparently G1 cartoon- or just loosely G1 in general.
Bumblebee gets stolen. We've had this story before, but this one has a
nice take on it. A nice fluffy character piece.
Lonesome Diesel

Setting: Armada comic continuity- or just loosely Armada continuity (since even
Armada comic continuity meshes badly with the larger Armada continuity in, say,
their MtMtE book.)
My least favorite of the stories so far, it could stand a little less
flavor by half. Once it gets past the opening things smooth out considerably.
Awkward in places.
I enjoyed that it tried something really different, but the overall
feeling was very… fanficy (something most of the stories in this volume have
escaped) probably in part because of the characters chosen.
One minor continuity/naming error.
Prime Spark

Setting: FIRMLY Armada cartoon continuity. Spanning (or hopscotching) episodes
39 (Crisis) and 42 (Miracle.)
You ever wonder what happened with Optimus Prime died, from his
perspective?
This one was a LOTY of fun, I admit part of the fanboy in me squealed in
delight. A bit clunky in the middle when trying to exposit some find
distinctions through pseudonatural dialog- I'd have preferred straight
expositives to get it out of the way and move on. In all, fairly fluffy, but
terribly fun and satisfying at the same time.
Four more left-t hen Derik is out of anthology. Boo-hoo.
I-books shall simply have to publish another. This format seems to work
really nicely- there's something for everyone.
(And besides, an anthology might be the only way we'll see TFU wrapped
up.)
