Legacy Troop Builder 4-Pack and Studio Series '86 2-Pack

There are images of a Legacy troop builder four-pack as well as a Studio Series '86 two-pack:

The four-pack consists of a Voyager-class Decepticon Seeker (based on the Earthrise mold), a Deluxe Autotrooper (based on Siege Crosshairs), A Quintesson Bailiff (same basic design as Earthrise Allicon), and a GG2 Jhiaxus Trooper (a redeco of Legacy Skullgrin).
We need to unpack this for a second. So, the images of the Decepticon Seeker are poorly-lit, and in person he's not blue, but a purple color. There were a number of purple-colored guys in the "More Than Meets the Eye" cartoon pilot:

So, I'm all in. I am a huge fan of the generic Decepticon jets and it's great that they're getting some Legacy love. I kind of want... two, maybe? Three?
The Autotrooper is from Kiss Players, and is substantially less exciting to me. Zero interest.
So, you might see the Allicon-looking dude and go, "Wait, didn't we already get him during Earthrise?" Well, this is the Quintesson Bailiff, a different guy. He was previously made available in the $70 "Pit of Destruction" set, but they got his colors wrong because the TF Wiki uploaded an incorrect, fan-colored image and Hasbro thought it was kosher (and then the TF Wiki gave Hasbro shit for getting it wrong, because why not). So, it's kind of cool that he's getting an accurate do-over. I'm leaning towards wanting two of him. Curiously, he comes with the Allicon robot head as an alternate piece, so I guess you can build an Allicon army if you missed them during Earthrise.
Jhiaxus had a bunch of bad guy followers—not quite Decepticons, but Cybertronians who had ostensibly moved past their warlike ways (not really, though). They all shared a uniform green-and-white color scheme, and many of them had horned helmets. The idea of giving Jhiaxus some troops is a neat idea. A proper collection would include hundreds of these, but I guess I can get two. He comes with an alternate head as well, so you can create at least two different characters!
Also, it seems that the dying Prowl who leaked not too long ago (and by leaked, I mean orange smoke leaked out of his mouth as he DIED) is part of a two-pack with, yes, you guessed it, a dying Ironhide. He's got a busted-up windshield, a place to attach blast effects in his fatal wound, and what's this? Leakin' lubricants! He's got the orange stripes this time. I wonder how tough it will be to swap out parts and build an intact, non-dying Ironhide with the proper stripe colors?
I wonder if they'll do a Dying Brawn (after his Studio Series toy is released) and Dying Ratchet eventually?
Target is having a Geek-Out Event beginning June 16, and it is likely this is product intended for that event.

I'm honestly tempted to get more than one of this set, but that's mostly because I want to have multiple Autotroopers and Jhiaxus troopers.

But, remember that Hasbro only reserves something like five percent of the product for sale on their site when it comes to store exclusives, so there is a strong likelihood that the set will be plentiful when it hits Target stores and/or their web site.
It's priced at $77.99, which is less than I'd expect to pay for a Voyager and three Deluxes. They could have easily charged $105. It ships on October 1st, 2023.
The Ironhide/Prowl set is also online, and is not yet sold out as of this writing:

Prowlworthy Prowl has grey upper legs and midsection in robot mode, has a red-painted triangle on his pelvis, and in car mode he's got opaque painted blue windows instead of translucent ones. He's also got police badges with Autobot symbols instead of the word "POLICE" on his doors, and silver-painted hubcaps. Might be possible to mix-and-match some of those parts to build a better-looking non-dead Prowl.

Hideworthy Ironhide has the same opaque painted windows, and the yellow stripes on the sides of the van mode. I'm not seeing as many changes to the robot mode. This is, of course, aside from the obvious differences (the alternate head sculpts and the battle damage).
I dunno. I feel like we're entering a phase of Transformers collecting that we used to get with Star Wars, where we are buying action figures representing specific moments in that character's career. Like, we used to get Luke Skywalker, X-Wing Luke, Dagobah Training Luke, Hey That Was My Hand You Asshole Luke, etc.
Transformers tend not to get costume changes like most Star Wars characters, so there's arguably less of a reason to do mutliple iterations of the same character, but the idea that we're celebrating and commemorating Ironhide's and Prowl's death scenes is... interesting? It's like we've moved to a new phase of collecting, now. Not even Star Wars did a toy of Yoda on his death bed.
Something tells me we might be seeing more of these in the future. Dying versions of Brawn and Ratchet seem inevitable, now. Gotta complete the shuttle crew, after all. Maybe one of the features of Studio Series Ultra Magnus will be that you can rip his arms and legs off?

But I'm putting my foot down if they try to sell me rocks. Those are obots which are not Transformers!! Unless they're cool and accurately depict that rock from that one scene in the TFTM. Ok, I'll buy the rock,, at least as a placeholder until the buzzworthy rock has a more accurate paint scheme. Will the rocks combine into Mt. St. Hillary?
