I noticed every year hasbro & takara like to get more secretive & show
less.
to the point where proto types/test shots are the fans only way of
seeing advanced information.
my guess is hasbro shows the entire ROTF toys for the 2010 year. the
spot light will definately be on ROTF leader starscream because it's a
superb mold & hasbro want to flaunt there best design.
As with every Hasbro toy fair TF room. there's always 2-3 TF displays
set up on various themes & side lines. My guess is the first & maybe
second waves of the June 2010 main line that will have a new cartoon
will have it's only section in the room. the TF side lines like the
video game & newer universe mold might get 3-4 figures shown.
Hopefully the 4 new molds for TF animated don't waste up valuable
display space at toyfair. with all those recolors.the molds got shown
off at the 2009
fan conventions.
If there's any 2010 new mold supreme toy. hasbro uses shows it a
toyfair. because it's always hard to convince retailers to spend the
big bucks on larger figures.
as always they'll be no store exclusives on display at toyfair.
the hasbro toyfair reps will either be clueless or pretend to be
clueless when asked questions at toyfair.
hasbro & the reps at toyfair will say: there won't be asking any media
questions about cartoon series, comics, movie or video games. they say
some
stuff like that's a seperate division & those here only know about the
toys.
a few days before hasbro toyfair, hasbro will first release a
transcript on-line saying giving brief set ups of there core brands &
size levels. making sure not to reveal anything useful. THEN on the
day of toyfair hasbro will release a second on-line thing with
character info in the waves of there core brands.
lastly 4+days after toyfair, hasbro will release on-line pics on there
web site of actual toy pics taken from toyfair with more info.
I await to be plesantly surprised .
I expect to be painfully dissapointed .

And every year more and more toys leak from factories in China .
This year there are no leaked prototypes .
What does that tell you ?
I think that the ToyFair is getting less and less important. Time to
production is getting shorter, and retailers are making many more
adjustments to their toy-buying plans, so a once a year event doesn't
make as much sense for an established toyline.
So, just less emphasis on it.
