Why this is marked as abuse? It has been marked as abuse.
Report not abuse
I'm almost done with Act 1 of Fire in the Sky and Megatron has once
again said his infamous line "Soon we'll return to Cybertron with
enouch [energy/energon cubes] to [conquer/dominate/rule] the universe."

After saying this sevreal times, wouldn't he learn it's not happening?
He never actually disposes of the Autobots before saying this. You'd
think that would be step one towards conquering the universe.

...Back to the subtitles.

So, is that what is bugging you? The fact that my posts are sometimes
pointless? If it bothers you so much you should have just said so a
long time ago.

I can be all serious and business 24/7 here. In fact, if it'll make
you happy, I'll start right now. From here on out I will only post
when I have something of real value to add to the community here.

"Megatron's Master Plan" -- he gets the Autobots exiled, and then proceeds with everything else. So, he did learn a little.

And, you would think he wouldn't attempt to engage all the Autobots at once -- just send the Seekers out to hunt and kill Autobots who stray from the pack, and reduce their numbers. Eventually, he can kill the remaining ones by force of numbers.

Don't listen to this crap, your posts are great, and with your subbing
project you are contributing to fandom. Don't change a thing, and just
killfile his posts.

I give a fuck about it. And since you've been gone for a long while,
Ultra Magnotron has been reviewing the G1 episodes so he can create
subtitles for them, making them more widely accessible to the deaf and
hard of hearing. In other words, he's makiing a contribution to the
fandom. I personally don't believe that he's Gustavo Wombat, nor has
either of them given me any reason to believe they're the same
person. Even if they are, though, I don't care. They're both
positive contributors to the newsgroup, which is more than I can say
for you.

I think the problem is that Megatron tends to get his goals confused.
His ultimate goal, of course, is to collect energy to restore
Cybertron. The Autobots are trying to stop him from doing this,
though, so his secondary goal is to get rid of the Autobots. Megatron
isn't fighting a war just for the sake of fighting a war; it wastes
energy and takes him away from his goals. However, it's a necessary
evil.

The problem is that sometimes Megatron get so wrapped up in getting
rid of the Autobots that he concocts these huge, elaborate schemes to
destroy them instead of keeping focused and continuing his energy
collecting. It's perhaps understandable, since they piss him off and
try so hard to keep him from getting what he wants. He's only human,
so to speak. A desire for vengeance upon them is only too natural.

Something else to keep in mind is that Megatron's got to keep his
troops motivated. If he was constantly whining, "Those stupid
Autobots! Now we'll never retake Cybertron! We're never going to
rule the Universe!" he probably wouldn't have very many followers.
It's much better to wax poetic and keep optimistic about the future,
even if he isn't personally convinced that his scheme will result in
the Autobots' destruction.

Megatron from MTMtE might have come up with this plan. Megatron from the
continuing series? Never. He must have taken some serious damage to his
cerebral circutry when the space cruiser crashed at the end of MTMtE part 3.

These subtitles aren't just for kids. They can benefit adult fans as
well.

All he's doing is distributing the computer files that contain the
subtitles. You need to provide your own copy of the episode and
combine the two in order for the subtitles to be viewable. That's not
a copyright violation.

He offers the subtitles on his web site, not through YouTube.

I think that perhaps I am done arguing with you for a long, long
while.
