very brief thoughts on more Prime toys

Deluxe Dreadwing: this is a much cleaner design than most of the Beast
Hunters toys -- it hits the unfortunate spot of having just enough beastly
bits to not represent the original character model, and not enough to make
him distinctive. There's none of the rubbery plastic that ruined the
Voyager mold, but the mold isn't quite as good as the Voyager could have
been.

Deluxe Ratchet: I had forgotten there was an earlier Ratchet toy in this
size class. Overall, it's a slightly weak original mold, but the beasty
bits and the weapon give him a bit more charm.

Skystalker: spindly, with an uninteresting transformation and some weak
joints. The transformation is very similar to Rippersnapper (I think that's
her name), just not done as well.

Yeah, I don't even bother collecting the Beast Hunters toys. I have
Predaking and I will get Shockwave. That's about it.

I think it's kind of disappointing that the toys seem a bit cheap
to me (just my own opinion here). I hear rumor that the next
series will be a Beast Wars inspired tale. You know, still in the
Prime universe but *all* beast. Kind of what Beast Wars was to G1.
All over again.

Now, this is pure rumor. Who knows. Maybe it will something else
entirely. I can't see the future. I just hope that if it is true
those toys won't look so cheap to me.

Yeah, I have skipped pretty muchthe entire line. I only got the small dragon molds (2), but passed on everything else. Not sure if it is the line, or if I am just getting PRIME tired-head. I do plan on picking up the triple changers, once I find them that is...
