Ok- through the years, I have amassed, then sold, TF collection after
TF collection. G1? Had at least 150 of 'em, most MISB or MOSC- sold em
in the the mid 90's. Beast Wars? Had 'em all- MOSC or MISB. Sold.
Japanese BW? Had 'em all except Tako Tank and that Styrocosaurus one
all MISB or MOSC. Sold. Energon, Armada, and Cybertron? Lost interest-
only had maybe 2-5 of each line, all sold. 1st movie? Took a while to
garner interest, eventually purchased about 10 of them, then put 'em
in the closet and forgot about 'em. Universe? Love Universe. Bought em
all- sold all but a handful a few months ago. But yesterday, I went to
my local Wallyworld (havent done so in months), and they are having a
HUGE clearance sale on TF's. Ultra Universe for $15- exclusives that
were $25 now $12. I find myself tempted again.

First of all, welcome back. You've been gone a while!

I've bought up a whole bunch of toys lately that I wouldn't have
normally gotten, except for the fact that they were on sale. This
includes Animated Roll Out Command Optimus Prime for $20, Universe
Storm Cloud and Autobot Blaster for $12, and just today, Universe
Skyfall for $15. Here's the thing, though. That's almost sixty
bucks' worth of toys I don't even really want. There are still plenty
of toys in the world that I *do* want, so why not apply the money
towards that instead?

Given your cited collecting habits, I think I can say with a fair
degree of likelihood that if you do buy any of these toys, you'll sell
them all off eventually unless you absolutely fall in love with them.
If I'm reading your original post correctly, the only toys you've ever
kept were a handful of Universe toys, so it's a fair bet you liked
those too much to part with them. Are you going to feel that way
about Onslaught-colored-like-Hardhead and Silverbolt-colored-like-
Skyjack? That's the question you need to ask yourself.
